Rupert Grint

Do you seem to realise that Rupert hardly, hardly, hardly ever gets the spotlight? Everything is always about Dan and Emma - they get nominated for Best Young Actor and Actress, they get spoken about the most, they get associated with HP more... but what about Rupert? He's part of the trio too, he acts AMAZINGLY, yet you would never hear so much about him. I remember scanning the TV Guide Channel sometime last week and ABC Family was showing CoS. The TV Guide Channel usually gives a little synopsis along with the lead actors - and they had Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson. And NO Rupert Grint. That seriously got me annoyed - I mean, why leave our Rupert Grint, he's a lead too, remember? And it's not like they only list the two main actors - they usually list all the major ones... I've seen movies in which they have listed three before. I'm not asking for them to go listing Bonnie Wright and Tom Felton and whatnot, but Rupert Grint is a major actor - why leave him out? And it always happens, you know - everything is Dan and Emma, they always get the spotlight, and Rupert is left behind somewhere. I really like Rupert, perhaps more than I like Dan, so it annoys me to see him left out in everything.

*Phew*. Okay, sorry for all that ranting. But, honestly - anyone share my feelings?

I know exactly how you feel. If you look at most of the pictures from the premieres and stuff, Rupert is always being shunted to the side. He deserves just as much recognition as Emma and Dan do, if not more. He's such an amazing actor and such an amazing person, though I don't really know him...so...

But, the great thing with some like Rupert is I don't really think he cares. The way he handles all of the under recognition, or whatever you'd like to call it, makes him stand out SO much more. He deserves so much more.

Dan, for obvious reasons, has the most scenes in the movies. When Dan's not alone, he's always with the trio - not with only Emma, or only Rupert. What I'm trying to say is that where Emma is in the movies, Rupert is too. Therefore, it's not a factor about him having less scenes - he has the same amount of scenes as Emma does. There are very, very few scenes in which Dan is showcased with only ONE of them (so few, actually, that I can't remember one off the top of my head). And, yup, I agree with you - Rupert has got AMAZING expressions. But it's not only about the nominations, you know - it's just the whole factor of it. He just does not get that much popularity as Emma and Dan do.

Yeah, he's always shunted to the side! I know, he doesn't really seem to care, does he? But I care!😆 Lol. But it's great that he doesn't seem to care so much that he's being overshadowed by Dan and Emma - though, I'm sure during some moments he must be feeling it too. And, I mean, I REALLY like Rupert - he's my favourite. Ron's also my favourite character. I guess Ron and Rupert really have a lot in common - Ron's always being overshadowed by his brothers, and Rupert by his costars. And yes - he DOES deserve so much more!

On a side note: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? It's so nice to see you again, though, Charmed!😊

I sort of feel bad for him too. He's a good actor, better than emma according to me. He deserves the spotlight more thann emma does. 😳

I think Emma & Rupert should be given an equal amount of spotlight. Of course Dan is the most important cuz. he's the main character and all.

rupert is a gr8 actor...he's perfect as ron 👏 ...he's really good...if u've observed the trio carefully from movie 1 u wud find that while dan n emma hav gradually got into their characters n horned their acting skills rupert was brilliant right from the begining...when u see him in the HP movies you find that he is ron to the very core of his heart(acting wise) right from movie 1!!!
he does deserve a lot more...
