This is a question even Singam cannot answer!!

See -- whenever a Mega Serial is started and new characters are launched,

the actors/actresses themselves are not told how their character will be

developed. Initially, they will be told about some role, and this role will always

change from good to bad, bad to worse --- SUDDEN TWIST -- worse to a

great character, only to be shown again as a scheming bad, bad to worse,

worse to good (twist in the story), good to great, schemingly bad, etc.

Twist in the story to suit the TRP rating is the key. The creative team meeting

of a Serial is also attended by the Ratings group of the channel. If the rating

goes really down, they shall look for which character to finish off, and plan

to insert some new character etc.

This frustrated actress Sarita so much that she decided to quit acting

from Selvi serial (she was originally promised that Thamarai is an intelligent

and affectionate friend of Selvi, but her character became a dumbo later on).

Then the creative team decided to finish off Thamarai character etc.

So, whether Singam is really good or bad, even he cannot answer.

Creative Head (read: Radhika Madam) can make him good or bad

to suit the TRP rating.
