Who is Shaan's favorite?

Shaan has been a wonderul anchor on the show. He has always been a sport and supportive of nervous candidates before they sing (Remember Joyita's last appearance with Salman as judge... that's when she said this for Shaan).

Being a singer himself, he understands the nuances of music and I am sure he has his favorites. This can be gauged by the subtle comments he passes after the singer completes.

I personally feel that he adores Hemachandra because he mentioned recently that when Hema sings, he makes it his own song and yet does not lose the beauty bestowed to the song by the original singer. That I feel is a praise of the highest order because this is an equally talented peer saying things about him.

Understanding the rules of the game, he urges people to vote based only on singing. He is just amazing. My pick for Shaan's favorite is Hemachandra among boys and Nihira among girls. This is my personal opinion purely.

Now, all you guys/gals can take shots at who is Shaan's favorite. If you can provide a specific description on why you feel that way that would be great.

hem for sure, but cant say about girls... he has never specifically made any remark... but most probably nihira...

Shaan is a very honest and neutral host to tell the truth. But even I feel he favours Hem somewhat more.

Among the girls he gives good comments for Himani a lot. So maybe thats his favourite.

You should have seen Shaan after Nihira sang the Hare Rama Hare Krishna song: "aapney bahuth aacha gaya" Shaan said twice in both low and high Octave. I think his favorite in Nihira.

i think its hema too. and actually he deserves it. that guy sings so well and his voice quality is really unique, and sylt different.moreover all these judges there never actually praise him as as they praise vinit,nihira etc...y i cant understand...its beyond me..is it because he is dark or is it becoz he is the only south indian there and south indians r not given a prefernce in our hindi speaking industry?

I think its mentors duty to promote someone & shaan has to be same with all contestants...When HEma & nihira were in bottom 3 & when he know rajiv got maximum then his comemnts against rajiv showed his favourism to hema & nihira...


But anyone may do like that as all knows rajiv is not better than hema & nihira...
