Ghajini has stunned the trade and film industry with its earth shattering and historic first week collections. The industry and trade judges each film in terms of shares and after just week one Ghajini stands at 8th place in the all time list. Ghajini has crossed the lifetime share of Singh is Kinng and is on par with the lifetime share of Welcome in just one week.
The only films that are ahead of it are Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (still running), Om Shanti Om, Krissh, Dhoom 2, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Gadar.
After two weeks the film will be third on the all time list, it will be on par with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge with just Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Gadar in front of it. To put it into perspective is that it will cross the biggest earner of the multiplex era Dhoom 2 in just two weeks leaving only the two biggest hits of hindi cinema ever ahead of it. Ghajini will record the highest business ever in the Mumbai, West Bengal, Nizam, Mysore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala circuits.
