Aryan will tie the knot with US photographer Alexandra Copley

Aryan Vaid who was last seen sobbing on the small screen for co contestant Anupama Verma after his eviction from the first season of Big Boss has moved on. The model turned actor will be tying the knot with American photographer Alexandra Copley early next year.

The actor was spotted hand in hand with his lady love at a recent television awards event. Aryan, known to be a ladies' man has hung up his Casanova boots and is ready to settle down.

Meet my parents

Says a source close to the actor, "Alexandra was on holiday in India, when Aryan and she got to know each other at a party. They met almost three months ago and have been inseparable since. He has been looking for stability in his personal life, which he's found in Alexandra. He proposed to her last month and she accepted. Alexandra is a sweet and charming girl. She is completely devoted to Aryan. She's even met his parents and they love her."

Though Aryan confirms the engagement he adds, "It's too personal to disclose any details."

When asked about moving on after the Anupama episode, he says, "It was sad that the relationship didn't work out but sadder that she went around talking negative stuff against me for publicity. Even I could have done that but I chose not to."

Humiliating episode

He adds, "But I am not bitter about it. It was too stormy a relationship to ever find a destination. Yes, it was painful, humiliating and devastating but I have moved on. It wasn't just about being rejected and heartbroken but to see your parents see hoardings all over town which had her saying: 'The whole world warned me about Aryan'. Watching them get hurt was devastating. I was never a saint and we both know what the truth is.

What happened was really unfair but then that is life..." concludes Aryan from the sets of the film Veer, which stars Salman Khan.
