I am going to give credit where it's due. I think S-S are great dancers and in my opinion, the classiest contestants in NB. I think V-R's ouster has unfortunately made people over react and make S-S and P-M the scapegoats. People are unnecessarily making disparaging comments about S-S when they are probably the only couple that has acted throughout the show without indulging in fights, mudflinging and gossipmongering.

I respect them for the fact that they are so simple and down to earth. They feel their performance is the only thing that matters and they don't pander to any crowd.

Here are some 'dramebaaz' moments from other contestants that S-S never stooped to doing.

Shilpa, Poonam and Rajeshwari's karvachauth celebrations - very filmy, very overdone especially Shilpa's 'pair chhuna' bit. I found Archana very honest and straightforward. Supriya said and did nothing- she niether practiced kc nor did she comment negatively about it. Mind you, I have NOTHING against Karvachauth, I just felt that these 3 contestants were trying to woo the audience.

Manish's constant puja and Bhagwan ka naam lena? Sounds like a way of getting religious housewives and the middle aged crowd to vote for him!

Shilpa's emotional bits about not having a dad and also Apoorva not having one. I hated the bit about act as if I am your beti and he is your damaad and vote for us. Hello, many of the contestants have been though difficulties in life- they don't keep harping on it.

Poonam's constant crying and Shilpa's plopping. At most, S-S showed sadness by getting choked up and joy by hugging. They did not resort to Poonam-Manish's and Shilpa's brand of drama.

At least S-S never faked illnesses like the 'dukhti gardan', 'tuuta hua daant' , 'stomach flu' and 'fainting spell' crowd. In fact, if they had done so it would even have been believable due to their age.

People crib that S-S are getting a lot of Maharashtrian votes but I didn't see anyone cribbing when Neeru said in Punjabi that every Punjabi has to vote for her and that she will not ASK for it but it's something they absolutely have to do.

S-S maintained a dignified position on the Rajiv-Delu issue. They never resorted to fighting with Manish's intensity and Varun's ' muuh fulana'.

Unlike Delu - Rajiv who kept flirting with the judges (Farhan-Mailaka), S-S never did so.

Manish and Rajiv went on town doing rona-dhona bout how much they had to struggle. sob sob. Well, every star has struggled including SRK who used to take his bath in Taj Mahal hotel's bathroom when he first came to Bombay. Did you see S-S go on and on about their struggles? Neither comes from a film family yet through sheer hard work and talent they have come up.

Most importantly, S-S have constantly listened to the judges and improved their performances. They have been consistently good and working hard. Also, unlike V-R, they realised their limits and have not been overambitious. I firmly believe that Varun's blanking out was no more than sheer fatigue and an inability to get his steps right. If you see the rehearsal videos clearly, the step he stumbled on his semi final performance was the same one he flubled on during rehearsing when Raajeshwari got irritated with him.

I think S-S truly deserve to win this award not just because they are fabulous dancers but because they are the only ones who did not emotionally blackmail the viewers.

They do not believe in winning 'by hook or by crook' and so they are rightful winners!

I know many forumers are going to get agitated by my post but I honestly don't care. I have met very few rational, logical thinkers in my life and will not be surprised to see cloudy thinking on this issue too.

That's all. May S-S wear the crown👏

i dont see anything wrong with their performance
c'on , at their age i cant even imagine them doing such steps
they have always maintained a dignified presence ,be it their comments abt their performance or abt any petty issues
they haven't been dramebaaz's

I guess once you decide to take part in a dance competition inclusive of people half your age then you should be prepared to do all sorts of steps at high energy levels. This is all a part of the deal. SS are doing a good job keeping up but i would'nt vote for them just because of the age factor. That would be unfair to all other participants. Its the end result that should be appreciated....irrespective of the x-y-z's.

I am sure both the finalist will give their best. Good luck to both of 'em. Its the audience who has to judge so instead of bickering and mud slinging we should practice our right by voting for them to give them a fair judgement. Go ahead vote for them anyway you can, by phone, sms or the internet.

its not abt difficult dance steps,

its abt variety.

s-s only has one routine style,

all other couples have experimented more or less.

always the naughty bindas style, do classical, do retro, do somehting else yaar, dont make sore eyes out of the audiance.

and yes they are aged, but then , ppl with vast physical problem have performed.

To that extent, I would blame the channel and Al and Mel. The songs are mostly given by the channel and I think V-R were always given the best songs.

- Supriya was given Chale Jaise hawaiyein from Main Hoon Na. Wahi purana attitude and lingo. kitna different karenge???

- Look at Sachin's solo song. He was given a complete bore to perform on- Salman's song from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Compared to that, Varun lucked out with Khaike Paan. that is a phenomenal song- you can do lots of stuff with it.

- For shaadi, again Sachin Supriya got a Bombay Bindaas style song which is Sapne mein milti hai. That song has such lingo, that only certain type choreo can be done on it. On the other hand, V-R were given Le jayenge, le jayenge which left lot of scope for experimentation.

- V-R got many diff songs with diff beats so they could do diff steps on them. S-S were mostly given 'bindaas' songs- they were never given sexy, modern, retro songs by the channel to perform on! That is not their fault, that is the channel's bias showing!

Also, I think Al-Mel are really playing it safe. They give wahi movements over and over again. They don't have Rajeev Surti's innovativeness.Even Al-Mel's performance was quite lacklustre according to me. But what can S-S do of their choreo is like that?

I personally feel V-R were given the nicest songs and also the best choreographer. People think the channel was biased against them, I think the channel used to favor them a lot. For that matter, I feel Archana-Parmeet were also constantly given Punjabi/North flavor songs which was unfair to them as Arch is a very versatile dancer.

As far as physical problems go, EVERYONE except S-S have made excuses out of it. Including Varun- Rajeshwari what with Raj's 'fainting spell' and Varuns' blanking out' which frankly is a nice way of saying ' I forgot my steps'.
