Smile ,and the word may smile with u. a study published yesterday in BMJ,formerly the British Medical .Journal, says happiness is contagious . Here r three things , scientists found that could make u happier.
Find cheerful people , even if they r stangetrs.
The scientists found that happy people passed on theier cheer to people they did'nt know ---and this transferred happiness lasted 4 up to a year.
"Happiness is like a stampede." said Nicholas Christakis,a Harvard priofessor and one of the study authors.
"whether u r happy depends not just on u r own actions and behaviours and thoughts, but on those of people u don't even know.
Stay close to a friend or a relative
Having friends or sibling live nearby increased peoples' changes of being upbeat. Happy sqouses helped but not as much as happy friends of the same gender . each happy friend boots u r own happiness by 9 per cent.
