::new Gotw::: Thanksgiving day special #1

1. Be honest. If you had a bad year with your bf and you are not thankful for him do not mention him. You don't have to thankful for the one person on IF you have talked to for only one day.

2. Elaborate. (this is a choice ofcourse) But if you are going to mention someone tell us why you are thankful. It's good to write down your innermost feelings because sometimes you don't realize them till you have to admit it.

3. You can mention everyone outside of the forum!! Really!! Go ahead write the true people you are thankful for!!

I have so many people to thank! Ok, so let's start!

First, I want to thank my Mummy and Daddy ji! I want to thank them for putting up with me, listening to random talks, and correcting me whenever I am wrong. I share a different relationship with both of my parents. With my mom I can joke a lot, she doesn't mind my stupid jokes! Also, when she gets new stuff, she makes me sit, and she tries everything on, and I have to give my opinion on how all her new suits suit her. It's very fun, because I change my mind a lot. And it leaves her puzzled. But I am daddy's girl. My dad has spoiled me a lot! Whatever, I want he usually buys it for me. But I very thankful for the long long lectures he gives me! We have a lot of science discussions; my dad takes a topic, and talks about it 3 hours! Sometimes I try finding a way out of it. But I love my parents, they always take my consideration. My dad works for hard, that it brings tears to my eyes. For example, if I don't like something, I highly doubt that we are going to buy it.

I want to thank my brother! I can't imagine being an only child. My brother and I get along pretty well. I can say he is my partner in crime at home. Whenever something goes wrong, we most of the time try to find a solution for it. He is a good kid. But oh god, is he annoying! Sometimes we end up strangling each other very badly, fist fights everything. Occasionally, he tries to choke me to dead, he almost killed me once. We he finished, I beat him really good. But he has a good sense of humor! But I have to listen to him talk about that doesn't excite me that much like chess, and all this other stuff. But still love you bro, thank you.

Next, I would like to thank wacko (Sania)! She is my shona bachha, my baby! The word wacky defines her! I love talking to her; the little things that she does make me laugh so much. Sometimes, I do feel like banging my head on the wall, or jumping out the window like Harshit. But still love her so much! When I am even a little sad, she is there to make me happy and laugh. It's amazing one day I randomly came into the KIT cc, and we started talking. First she yelled at me, and I was like wow what did I do? Hehe, but then we just magically got closer and closer. Hehe, thank you for letting me make fun of you! lol. Love you and thank you wacko!

I want to thank Harshit, for being such a good good friend! He has such good qualities! So funny, always ready to help, and always concerned! He is a little abnormal; best seriously he is one of the best friends I have! Thank you so much Harshit.

I want to thank Vanu di, for being such a great friend to talk to! She is always ready to help, and very very understanding! She is so smart, so I can always go to her for random questions! lol. She really has such an amazing personality. Thank you so much for everything Vanu di!

I want to thank Riit di for everything she has given to all of us! Thank you for your wit, jokes, plans to kidnap Akash for me and Fatima jaan (but the junglee billa will run to me first muahahahaha). She has such an amazing persona.

I want to thank Sherni (Salma jaan) for everything! She truely is the most lovable, I find her super super super adorable! My cutie pie! She is so great, and her writing is amazing.

I want to thank Nain jaan! She always makes me laugh, she has this unique style, and I just love her persona! She is another very amazing person! Thank you so much.

I want to thank KC Baji! She is always very very supportive. She is an awesome writer, and is so so straightforward! Thank you so much Baji.

I want to thank Sara for being such a sweet person! We have never talked much but, I can see her through her writing. Thank you.

I want to thank my pyari Wahi! Another person I love to death! Wahi is Wahi! No need to define her! love you and thank you!

I want to thank Anj di, for everything! She has made us all so happy with her magical vms! She is very strong, and such a good friend.

I have lots more to thank, I will come back later.

3. I am thankful for my younger sister. Whoever I am today is because of her. I grew up taking care of her and that's what mademe grow. if I am nice it's only because I had to be nice to her, If I am caring or motherly it's because I had to take care of her. I am thankful for a sister who hugs me (or jumps me) at random times. Thankful that I have someone to share everything with. From clothes jewelery, food everything. Thankful that I have someone who knows all my embarassing things but still loves me. (well she really doesn't have any choice) Most importantly thankful for a sister who starts crying more than me when I am physically hurt!

5. I am thankful for my friend kelly! It's rare to find a friend who has always been your rock to lean on. She has never been a shoulder I could cry on. But when I cried she has been there and told me it's ok and showed me brighter things in life. I am thankful for such a friend who remembers my list of guys better than me and though she didn't approve she went along with it. When I was hurting from walking on heels all day and saying ouch at every step instead of saying awww she pinched me so It would take my mind of the feet. I am sooo soo thankful for giving a friend who has sat through while I practiced my speech for all the 200 officer positions. Who has been there when I ran for my 1st election and lost. And 4 years later was still there when I ran for 6 different elections and won all!!! I am thankful to god for such a awesome who I forgot to thank so many times!!!

7. I am thankful for my jaan Sandy. I could never say it enough times how thankful I am for her. She is my better half in every way. I consider it a blessing that I have someone who shares my every thought and emotion. It's amazing. It's freaky but amazing. She is a wonderful person, more wonderful than I could ever be! I admire her from every aspect! I am thankful to god for giving me someone who I can talk to about anything!!!!! (really anything because I know she would understand.) I even whined to her last night. And she made everything better! She is a treasure and I am grateful for her. And it's amazing that I start crying with the simplest thought of her being sad. I know it sounds dramatic but it really is true!! I can smile knowing she is happy and I get sad knowing she is sad!!!

9. Sara!!!! It's the hardest to write about her. Though she claims she is a bad sister , she is really a wonderful sis. I know she is busy most of the time, but I feel like she is one of my solid rocks. I am grateful to have someone I can count on. If I do something I know many will give it false praises but only my Sara jaan points out the mistakes. It makes me smile. I am grateful to find such a wesome friend and sister. But more important than that I am grateful to Allah for giving such a person who brought in 3 new wonderful people in my life.!

11. Salma dear. The sweety of our group. I feel sorry for the bechari, that she was thrown in this lunatic family. She makes smile too. When she is around I feel more mature and I feel obligated to love her and care for her. It's a warm feeling. I get touched everytime she calls me di. ::hug:: Don't worry love I will make sure your mother only finds you the hottest bengali guy as a husband! She is better than the rest of us. truly. Always there to support one of us when the rest might be busy!!! I am grateful for a sister who makes me feel so special.

12. I am thankful for my healthy functioning body! (that is soo cold right now)

13. I am thankful to god for giving me brain that I like using and writing these long posts!

14. I am thankful for the forum that makes my life so much better!!! And it's wonderful people!

I have more but now I am hungry and I need to go eat. In the future I have to make sure I marry a husband who cooks. No Sara love I have no intentions toward Jaejoong. I need someone else. Who can cook?

as for Mothers day/Fathers Day. I don't think any average desi person actually has a thing or two for this day because we stay with our parents all our lives. these things only exist in western countries for the obvious reasons.
