Any day ID. He is very down to earth and encouraging. He seems sensitive and gentle (and good humored). While others were being mean to the contestants during the initial phase, he was continously being supportive and encouraging. I think he is a great guy. This even shows in his music... I rate his song ' Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan' the best in last 15 years (with due respect to A.R. Rehman)

I agree. He is very fair in his judgement and accordingly gives his views in the most subtle way whereby the contestants appreciate his comments instead of feeling insulted.
