Nach Baliye couple's joint birthday
Nach Baliye 4 couple Shaleen Bhanot and Daljeet Kaur share their birthday and they celebrated it together on Saturday, November 15. Scorpios are supposed to be passionate and Daljeet threw a surprise party for beau Shaleen, sending him into rapture. Daljeet also invited his parents over.
"I am extremely excited to see my family," an elated Shaleen said, "that made my day."
So how old was the couple? "Age toh nahin bata sakti," Daljeet said, "all I can say is that he's just two hours older than I am."
The invitees included the fellow jodis from Nach Baliye and other TV stars. Jasveer Kaur and husband, and designer Rohit Verma were also present.
For his part, Shaleen gifted Daljeet a puppy. "I wanted one for the last two years but my dad wasn't allowing me to," she said, "now I've got one finally."
They have not yet decided on a name for the critter.
The couple say they are deeply in love and Shaleen says he finds Daljeet "absolutely perfect and mind-blowing."
Daljeet was more circumspect and laughingly offered this as her reason for loving him: "I am happy about the fact that I can understand his jokes when everyone else fails to."
She says to her the word love means 'Shaleen' as she has discovered love in him. Shaleen says that love "always grows with time."
The two met earlier this year on a shoot. So when did love happen?
Shaleen fell for her at sight. Daljeet says for her it happened after they began going out. "Normally he would never call me after 10 but one day he called me at 2," she said, "luckily I had just wrapped up my shoot for Sultan. I love the coffee you get that late at night sold by cyclewallahs and so when he asked me out for that I agreed. We chatted for four hours that night..."
The couple say they have no plans for marriage now but will give it a thought when they wrap up the show.
