ye ishq is original, even tho the opening is similar to some french song, but the rest is original.
ami je tomar is original.
in dino was only partial.. one line i think.
alvida was original
o meri jaan was copied i found it on itwofs..
anyway i love his EAR for music...
great composer, HORRIBLE judge.("special","improvement",blah blah).

Whether stolen or not, some of his songs have created sensations. So let us be happy that he brought those tunes for us to hear - we might have never bothered to hear the foreign songs unless we go and live in those places. The same way ARR was accused of stealing music from Malayalam and French when he started in Tamil, but despite all that he created some great compositions and added a magic touch to many. Bappita was accused too but then he changed the entire Hindi music industry with his so-called stolen tunes.

Of course, stealing is bad and claiming it as one's own and taking full credit for it after stealing is even worse. That's because our copyright protection laws are not strong enough. With globalization and international laws in place, I hope it will start to change and will come to a stop eventually.

When Salman was calling Himesh a song lifter, Pritam might have said to himself, "Oh God, plz don't let Salman dig this topic further, plz god plz..I hope no one's looking at me." and when Himesh and Salman's argument heated up, Katrina stopped Salman and then Pritam might have said, "Oh God!!!
