Each week of Nach Baliye is getting more competitive as all the jodis gear up to impress the celebrity judges. In the upcoming episode of nach baliye 4, the anna of Bollywood, Suniel Shetty and the sexy Malaika Arora give the best performing jodi of the week an EMI of Rs. 2 lacs. They too get bitten by the Nach bug and shake a leg along with Arjun Rampal who grooves to Aaja Aaja.
This week the contestants were given a unique theme where in they had to put together an act similar to what is done on theatre/stage. The couples came up with creative thoughts ranging form nautanki, lavani to disco, qawwali and more.
The jodis who made a hat-trick in the episode were Mouli and Mazher; 3 times in a row, they managed to get the coveted 3 claps from the charismatic Karishma Kapoor. The jodis performed on lavani- traditional dance format of Maharashtra. Mazher dressed as the ustaad and a gay character did not take his eyes off from Arjun. During the act, too he took out a handkerchief, which bore Arjun's name. Post the performance he went and kissed him. Every one joked that these are his genuine feelings for Arjun and it's high time that Mouli should get insecure.
Mazher gave us more details when we caught up with him, "This is the funniest performance I have ever done. And the credit for getting the hat-trick goes to our choreographers. They gave us the sketch and we gave the entire colour. They came up with a very nice concept wherein I play a gay called Ganpath Patel. When they told me about it, I was stunned but I did not have a choice but do it. I tried my level best to make the act funny. I had to get into the character and had to woo Arjun. I was scared since I got too involved with the character and even after the act, people were teasing me. Arjun was happy and he kissed me after the performance. I am sure he would have felt really embarrassed though he didn't show it. We also got some positive comments from the juries.
Mauli was the one who stole the entire show but I got all the attention. She worked really hard to bring her best out. She is a Bengali and it was not easy to perform a Maharashtrian dance form. She got all the technical details and was on the beat continuously. I am thrilled and 'Gay' and am looking forward to watching the episode."
