Srk talks about Rab ne Bana di Jodi

* kind of a love story... but a Hrishikesh Mukherjee-ish movie. In Adi-style. And with some "Yash Raj-pana" But very relateable.
* He modelled his geeky look on a person who had come for KAPPS!!! That was the time he and Adi were discussing the film and he was looking at videos and observing people to prepare.
* YRF were supposed to start promotions 6/7 days back on Diwali. But Adi called SRK and said he has stopped everything and will start on SRK's bday. That's a lucky day and also his bday gift.
* SRK has already seen the film. Adi hates to show his films before it is complete but he made an exception. And SRK feels it is a SPECIAL film. He said he gets a wide smile on his face even to think or talk about it.
* Adi feels SRK is over-intellectualizing the concept of the film when he is talking about it... the anti-thesis and all that. So SRK wants to make it clear it is very commercial and very very funny.

*he also said that its deff not about 45 year old guy marrying a young girl

- Raj's full name is Raj Kapoor

Your next film is Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and you have two very distinct looks…

Surinder Sahni is one of the characters – the one with the moustache. He works in the electricity board. He is based on one of the contestants who came on Paanchvi Pass and I've based my character on him. And even the other character where I play Raj Kapoor … that too is based on a contestant who came on my show. His name was Bobby and he said you know people think I look like John Abraham… so these two characters I play are real simple people and its their simplicity I have tried to borrow that simplicity.

And it brings back the hit team of you and Aditya Chopra. What can we expect from it?

This film is Yashiji and Adi's love. You know I don't believe in saying a movie is special but in thic case it is because Adi is directing after so many years. It is a commercial film that everyone will love. I recently saw it … normally Adi doesn't show his picture so early but he has shown it to me a month early and I think it is a very nice film.

It's a very interesting film. It's very funny… very entertaining. Adi is making a film after years… It's the story of a normal person. I am sometimes Raj or Rahul or Om before people but here is a character of a very simple person. This is very different to that. I want every girl, every girlfriend, every wife to look at their loved one and say that this is how I love him. And it's very different from what I have done till today as Raj or Rahul. You know talking about this film makes me smile always.
