More sob stories and drama this week

Yashita will talk about her sad life and how her mom struggled as a single mom.

and Vaishali will once again bring up her woeful tales and this time she brings a new angle to the story..she says she's of lower caste and that made her life hell...btw since people in this forum love to put words in my mouth, i have no problems with Vaishali's so called "lower caste"..in fact i abhor such classification (upper/lower/middle management whatever).. i am just mentioning it because that is what the article says..

I don't like these sob stories!!!!! and please vaishali should stop her drama now. both yahsita and vaishali shouldn't try and get sympathy votes. they're using cheap tactics.

I like to know the background of contestants. It is very inspring to see that human beings can come out of such dire miserable circumstances and shine. I will vote for Vaishali for her magical voice, it has nothing to do with her background, but I salute her human sprit that has come out aganist extreme odds, and excruciating poverty, probably unimagiable to most of us.

Which India are u living in? And talking about? The only caste system that prevails today is the one that is politically nurtured and maintained. Look at schools, colleges and everywhere..you'll see people from all backgrounds and "castes". I understand when people talk about poverty and hardships, but saying that lower caste is the biggest cures is antiquated. I agree it was the situation years ago..but not today. I have seen people who belong to these so called "lower caste" living in the lap of total luxury. I think it is even ridiculous to talk about caste and religion in a singing show when music is known to transcend all barriers.
