Earlier, the best models would be the showstopper for a fashion show. Then the fad of having Bollywood celebrities emerged. And now, with the latest Lakme Fashion Week, we've realised that this fad has become a trend. It woould probably be surprising if there was no pretty Bolly face as the showstopper in a show. We bring you the Bolly faces who walked the ramp this time around. And here's what we think about them.
Priyanka, Kangana and Mugdha
The three stars from Madhur Bhandarkar's film Fashion walked the ramp on the very first day.While Priyanka was sweet, Kangana looked a tad bit too confident and well, Mugdha could very well have been in the background.

Priyanka came back again on Day 4 to take a walk down the same ramp. And this time, she looked like a cute barbie doll, in yards and yards of white sheer lace!

But Priyanka was not alone this time either. She had to share ramp space with the sultry Shriya Saran.
RATING: 7/10Prachi Desai and Sameer Dattani
The latest season of LFW also saw a lot of newcomers from Bollywood walk the ramp. Rock On starlet Prachi Desai was just one of them. And even a hardly-known-for-anything (His film Uff Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai was hardly heard of), Sammir Dattani walked with her. This just went to prove how important the presence of a Bolly face has become to these fashion shows.

The one film old, Vikram Bhatt find, Adah Sharma of 1920 fame too joined the group of newbies from Bollywood at the Lakme Fashion Week. And surprisingly, unlike her film, she did not look scary at all on the ramp.

Even Neetu Chandra happened to be a showstopper. Now here's something brilliant. A face, which hardly can hold the audience to their seats in a theatre was expected to enthrall the audience in a fashion show! We wonder why the more established models took no offence to this one...

And here's another one. The models should have walked off and not on the ramp after this one. Masumeh was also a 'showstopper' for some designer who could have well stopped the show before it started.

And this one just took the cake. Mission Istaanbul actress and newcomer to Bollywood, Shweta Bhardwaj walked in a green and golden outfit for some reason.

Sayali Bhagat who gave up trying in Bollywood and has recently made an entry in the south Indian film industry too walked the ramp.

Celina surprised us in the show. She looked like she had gained some 20 years of age...or maybe that was the make-up.

If fashion does this to you, better be unfashionable. That is what we thought after we saw the utterly sexy Chitrangda on the ramp. She had transformed all of a sudden from HOT to HIDEOUS!

Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi made her fashion debut this season. And we must say, she was simply awesome!

Another star daughter we saw this season was Sonam Kapoor. And we were not complaining.
Anil Kapoor
Sure enough daddy followed suit. It was wonderful to see a REAL Bolly celeb on the final day of the fashion week. Anil Kapoor was till date a star, but his confidence and uber cool attitude on the ramp, made us believe he's a ROCKSTAR!

Another super cool stud on the ramp this season was Sreesanth. Well, maybe he's not a Bollywood face, but with the number of endorsements and appearances he's been making of late, he could very well pass for one.

Rituparna Sengupta (chances are you won't know her but she's quite famous in the Bengali film industry) walked the ramp with Pooja Bedi's little pre-teen daughter.

The two little stars too walked the ramp this season...No, don't ask 'WHY?'

Finally, someone who deserved to be a showstopper...(with the exception of Anil Kapoor, Sreesanth, Priyanka and a few others). Madhu has ruled the ramp for years together. And she was back as a showstopper on the final day of Lakme Fashion Week.
