TV actor Yuvraaj Malhotra aka Shaurya, the lead actor of Smriti Iraani's Waris, is out of the show. The channel is now hunting for a replacement.
A few days ago, Yuvraaj got into a physical altercation with a man in the production unit because they were delaying the shoot. Yuvraaj confirms and says, "I was ready for the shot but the production team was just not interested in shooting so I was upset.

I shouted at them and one of the production guys had a heated argument with me. We got into a fight and I headed to the nearest police station (Aarey Colony, Goregaon)."
Yuvraaj adds, "A little later the production team got to know from somewhere that I am not a member of CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes' Association) which is mandatory for all actors.
I have erred on that front, but it's not that I have not applied for membership. However, I have been currently debarred from shooting."
But, from what we hear Yuvraaj is dating Pearl Shahi, creative head of Zee TV and so wields strong influence. We also hear that the channel too is not keen to replace him. When we asked Pearl if it was true that the duo was dating, she replied, "No comments."
On the issue of Yuvraaj's ouster from the serial, she said, "I got to know that somebody from the production house had abused Yuvraaj. Anyway, now since he is not a member of CINTAA, he cannot shoot. We are now turning the story onto a different track."
Yuvraaj further says, "I have also heard of rumours of Pearl and me seeing each other, but it's not true. Pearl is a professional and follows the rules of the association.
Pearl would have dealt with any other actor in my place in a similar manner."
Smriti Iraani remained unavailable for comment.
