Highlights:

Swati gets a promise of Shankar

Dharma to leave on imp work

Gayatri keeps her vrat

Swati-Dharma express their love

Rudra furious

Update:

Swati continues to talk to Dharma's picture and says that if she waits for him to express her love then she will remain unwed for life. Instead she has to take matters in to her own hands. She goes to Shankar and asks him what he will get her for bhai duj. Shankar smiles [Haiiii!!] and says that he will get her whatever she wants. Swati is hapy but asks what if she asks for something he can't give. Shankar assures her that there's nothng that her brother can't get her and asks her what she wants.

Swati tries to tell him but his mobile rings. She looks stricken but smiles when she realises that it's Dharma's call. Shankar ends the call and again asks her what she wants. Swati grin and tells him that she will ask later and laves.

Swati's room…

Swati happily rings Dharma who is with Rudra. Dharma cuts the call and Swati tries again. Rudra, who is on the phone gives him a look and Dharma cuts the call again. Swati is annoyed and says that now she won't talk to him. Back in Rudra's room, he ends the call and tells Dharma to pay less attention to his mobile next time.

Dharma apologises and Rudra informs him that he is to go to the minister tomorrow at 5. Shankar comes in and says that he will go but Rudra replies that the matter is important and he only trusts Dharma.

Dharma looks perplexed but leaves. Shankar goes in front of Rudra and takes out his gun. He says that as now Rudra doesn't trust him, he has no use for this gun but will accept it back when Rudra thinks him worthy. He places the gun in Rudra's hand and leaves.

Downstairs Dharma asks Shankar to talk to Rudra as he has never worked without him [Shankar] before. However Shankar tells Dharma that all of Rudra's orders must be followed without any arguments.

Later…

Ganga is massaging Yasho's head who realises that Ganga wants to talk about Shourya. Ganga hesitantly says that she would like to talk to Shourya but Yasho makes an excuse that he is probably peparing for exams but assures her that she can talk to him in the morning.

Morning…

Women are settled for sargi and Yasho calls out to Gayatri. She relises her mistake and becomes upset but Kannika asks her not to start her Karva Chauth with unhappiness; adding that the Gayatri she is worrying over may not have even kept her fast.

Chawl…

Gayatri goes to have sargi but her mother stops her and asks her why she is fasting for a man who has no feelings for her. She replies that fast is for her love and says that she is sure that Shankar will come to her.

Dharma's room…

Dharma gets a message from Swati saying that she is waiting for him in the lawn and wants to meet him now. Dharma hurries downstairs with his bag [out to meet the minister] and the women question him as to where is going and Yasho insists that he haves breakfast. Dharma tries to get out of it whilst a sullen Swati waits outside for him. Yasho forces Dharma to have something to eat and blesses him before he leaves. Kannika and Kashi share a look and Kashi excuses himself saying that he had to talk to Dharma about something important.

Outside…

Dharma comes outside and smiles to see Swati asleep in the hammock where she had been waiting for him. He bends down and brushes a hair away from her face but from the window it looks as if Dharma is kissing her. Rudra sees this and is furious.

Meanwhile Swati wakes up and is happy to see him. She scolds him for making her wait and Dharma asks her why she called him here. Swati replies with a smile that today is Karva Chauth, Dharma looks confused [Aww!!] but she goes on to say that she has kept vrath for him and adds that she loves him.

Dharma-Swati eye lock whilst Rudra is shown storming down the stairs. Swati asks Dharma if he won't say anything. But Dharma gets up and says that he has to leave. Swati holds his hand and says that she understands all his worries but asks him to confess his love just once.

Dharma holds her hands and says that he loves her to. Swati is overjoyed but Dharma says that he can't betray Rudra. He points out their difference in society but Swati assures him that Rudra considers him his son and if Shourya's wedding can be arranged with Ganga then Rudra will surely arrange for them to be together.

Dharma promises to talk to everyone in the evening but leaves now. Swati is happy but bumps in to Rudra on her way back and loses her smile at his expression.

Preview:

Yasho comes to the chawl but is met with Gayatri's mother.

I'm confused. Gayatri and her mother converse as if it was Shankar who had left Gayatri and not the other way round.

Dharma-Swati dominated the epi today and it was nice to be away from [most] of the dreary storylines. But judging by Rudra's expression, tomorrow's epi won't be half as pleasant.
