I do feel sorry for Asma but I have no ill feelings toward the mother. She cares about her daughter very much. if she is stopping her from singing on this platform or becoming rich there must be a reason. I really don't want to get into religious stuff. Asma is lucky to have a such great mother. You don't disown your daughter for fun! The issue is serious!

Asma s mom seems to be a smart woman. She dont wants to get all the shame on her while her daughter is singing(crying) on srgmp😆

I, personally, do not buy this "sacrifice" and the resulting "indebtedness" arguments at all. What parents do is their duty and most parents do it out of love for their children. Similarly, let children do what ever they want to do for their parents out of love and respect for them - not out of "indebtedness". One makes this whole concept of parenting sound cheap when one starts talking about "kurbani" and "balidaans". Ultimately, it should be the child's choice what they want to do with their lives (provided it's not something anti-social or criminal). Therefore, I do not agree with those who are criticizing Asma for "going against her maa's will".
That said; I really don't think the reality is what was told to us. Asma has been learning music and singing for a long time now. If her mother had issues with her singing on public plateforms, she would not have waited this long. I feel all this drama was created for TRPs. Who knows, may be not many voted for her despite the cute hindi dialogubazi with the guests etc. The story doesn't ring true to me. Something fishy is going on with her parents. I refuse to believe they got divorced because of SRGMP.

Texas Gauri does not buy anything.😆
As to votes for Asma, I am sure Zee had a hand in it to keep her going.
I do not know why the story is being brought up so late and these are personal matters that no one wants to bring it up in public. I do smell a fish somehwhere, will send my cats to sniff it out.😆😆

Yep. I am a practical person and put on my thinking cap before jumping to conclusions😆 I really do not get swayed by the TRP masala stuff. Hence, do not buy the aaltoo faltoo stuff like HR's roti or Asma's ammi kahani😆😆

Agree with you here. If not the cat, send that person who keeps on posting the muhawaras of cats😛😆 But they usually buy each and every argument thrown their way if it happens to be from their fav😉😆

I think everyone goes through a tough phase in life. We should not have pity or compassion towards Asma in terms of her singing and her being in srgmp on account of that, but we do support her for her courage, fight and attitude.
May the best singer win.
