Review: Karzzzz puts you off to zzzz....

.........................
As you are left with sleep being rubbed out of your eyes as the end credits roll, you wonder sympathy-less why Himesh Reshammiya attempted something that was so clearly out of his league. Putting it succinctly, Reshammiya is a better composer than a singer, and a better singer than actor..........................................

.....

The music is passable on its own but is blasphemous compared to the original film. None of the purity retains, and these songs are just entertaining beats and noise that you might unmindfully enjoy and then forget. Dialogue is painfully archaic.

Go for it only if Himesh Reshammiya singing, dancing and acting makes up for your paisa and time vasool.

movie review Karzzzz

Despite all good intentions, T series' Karzzzz directed by Satish Kaushik turns out to be a poor remake of Subhash Ghai's original Karz. It just goes ahead to reinforce the point that has often been made and equally often been dismissed as pure sentimental rubbish, that certain films should be well left alone..............................

.............................Even though it stays mostly faithful to the original, it lacks drama and emotion. The music too fails to stir. The inclusion of the final song, Ek Haseena Thi and the theme music from the original, actually adds to the flavour of the film. Himesh Reshammiya tries too hard and it shows. But despite all his honesty and his hardwork, he also falls dismally short of doing full justice to the role that he takes on............

............

Himesh has invested quite heavily in this a film. Besides acting, he has composed the music and even sung most of the songs for the film. One thinks that he took too big a risk in taking on a role made so memorable by Rishi Kapoor. As an actor he is quite limited and it shows up in this film. Hence he is not able to do full justice to his character in the movie. Where the film's music is concerned, it fails to strike a chord. Except for a couple of songs, the rest of them appear to be forced, only going ahead to make the narrative loose and turgid.

Karzzzz fails to live up to any kind of expectations. It turns out to be just about adequate. The film could have done with a crisper narrative, fewer songs and better editing. The film lacks intensity, suspense and is just too long. It turns out to be a rather flat attempt by Himesh and Company.

Smash Hits

Overall, 'Karzzzz' is likely to catch the younger viewers because of Himesh's rock singing and dancing.
Desi hits
3out of 5
The film overall has a good look and feel to, good music, and can be seen as "Masala Packed" Himesh has tried to prove that he is not a one hit wonder, but the verdict is down to you guys, so check him out in your local theatres to see what "vengeance" is Monty out to seek!!
This film has got mixed response from critic and audience which always there for a remake. Most imp thing is that most of critic has admitted that himesh has improved in acting skills. By the way inspite of wonderful performance by Rishi Kapoor in the old karz the film was declared flop.

Congrats Himesh Bhai !šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
Now that Himeshji has proven to be a SUPER STAR after making a second movie, I believe it will be the World's Greatest Copy Cat Pritamji to copy a movie too. "The Thieves of Baghdad" woul be a good start, or Ali Baba and the 40 thieves.šŸ˜†
