We are lucky to have a mentor like Shankar who is an ace singer and composer, I don't need to go through his ease to sing in 3 octaves, flexible voice and excellent modulation, all the time in sur . It was so evident that he rules when it comes to music. Thanks for being there Shankar.
It became easier to judge the contestants as they sang with Shankar. What do you feel?
Often I noticed that contestants sing but fail to connect with the meaning of bol, this happened with most of them. Shankar is such a good singer, he brings softness, modulation exactly where it is needed may be this is the reason it was easier to find lacuna in contestants.
