Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar has stepped into a new chapter of life. On March 5, Arjun tied the knot with longtime fiancée Saaniya Chandhok in Mumbai, and their first glimpse as husband and wife is nothing short of magical. The intimate yet lavish ceremony quickly turned into a glittering gathering of cricket and Bollywood royalty.

A Regal First Look As Newlyweds

For his big day, Arjun chose a striking red sherwani detailed with heavy gold embroidery. The outfit featured intricate floral and jaal patterns, giving it a royal touch. Instead of keeping it monotone, he layered it over a deeper red kurta, adding depth to the ensemble. Ivory churidar pants softened the richness of the look, while a pink and white floral varmala stood out beautifully against the red. His clean, neatly styled hair kept the focus firmly on his attire.

Saaniya stayed true to the classic bridal red but infused it with warm golden hues. Her saree shimmered with detailed zari and embroidery work that reflected the light with every step. The blouse was structured and ornate, and her dupatta was draped gracefully in a traditional style. She completed her look with a green and gold choker set, layered jewellery, and a perfectly placed maang tikka. The pop of green stones added a refreshing contrast to the red and gold palette. Stacked red and green bangles tied the entire bridal look together.

A Star-Studded Celebration In Mumbai

The wedding was hosted at a luxury Mumbai hotel connected to Saaniya’s business family. The guest list read like a who’s who of Indian cricket and cinema. Among the first to arrive were MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi. Former cricketers Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan were also spotted at the venue. From Bollywood, veteran stars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan marked their presence early in the celebrations.

From Engagement To Pre-Wedding Festivities

Arjun and Saaniya’s journey to the altar has been closely followed. The couple got engaged on August 13, 2025, in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. Their wedding celebrations began earlier this week with vibrant haldi and sangeet functions in Mumbai on March 3 and 4.

In February, they were also part of an intimate pre-wedding puja hosted by Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani at their Jamnagar residence, adding another memorable chapter to their love story.

Now officially married, Arjun and Saaniya begin their new journey surrounded by love, blessings and the warm wishes.
