Once upon a time long long ago in the 60 and 70 centuries and there was a heated debate going on, it turned murky and ugly defiling all it touched. There was among all the murkiness, a small star emerged like heera from a heap of coal. She stood out for her sensibilities, objectivity, sense of humor and wit and left everyone who came in contact with her either dazzled or routed and retreating reeling from her sacharine sweet sarcasm and her sharp intellect.
Cut to the century 2000 and the year 7. There were a band of lovelies slowly taking shape, all of them interested in a common thread, sharing ideas, depicting beauty and magic and love, discovering new horizons and each other. In this band of lovelies, there emerged one day a small and bright star... she became notable for her pithy, succint, refreshing wit and humor. Her verses became notable for their rhythming and their wit, beautiful, elevating, invigorating. Her one liners were side splitting and thought provoking at once. She has an intellect to match and objectivity and can cut through the muddle and go straight to the point.
Now is the century 2000 and the year 8 and today all of us are here to acknowledge and celebrate the birthday (psst note the year remains unknown...and the lady timeless) of this lovely lady timeless, effortlessly straddling centuries, her wit and intellect razor sharp, a rare combination of the objective and logical as well as the poetic and literary inclinations and the one and the only who has taken us on a ride straddling different time zones, ladies it is my pleasure to present to you

Sonaaaaaaaaaa......i was debating between this one and the other, but then I thought this sooo encapsulates our meeting in Philly that day. You are the first KKian I ever met, and will always remain special to me on that account. And of course on account of the fact of 'kuchh na poochho phir kya hua' . Will never forgot how much we chatted and laughed and shared, not feeling for a moment that we hadnt met before.
