Not just Sachin and Supriya, Nobody has said that they are the best. So this discussion is just between "The viewers". Otherwise all these couples are just competing.
Anyway, one more thing what I wanted to mention about Varun and Raj is - Variety in moods.
Sachin and Supriya are doing equally good Job but most of their songs have a monotonous "pleasing expression" but a big plus we can see in Varun and Raj's Performances is, They are putting different moods in their performances with a veriety of expressios, which makes them really different, innovative and creative.
and Varun, as I wrote in my first posting, "WAS" a nondancer but not anymore. He has shown his inner dancing skills well during this contest. It looks like he knows very well what songs, moods, expressions and steps suite him.
So I find them the BEST DANCER COUPLE now.

I agree completely. Right from the first episode, I have always been maintaining that V-R are the best. I have mentioned this even on this forum at a time when most others were besotted with Apoorva-Shilpa or SAchin-Supriya. Seems that my intuition was right and they have come so far despite very low audience votes.

One thing about Varun that I find appealing is that although he may not be the best dancer around in terms of steps, he more than makes up for it though his facial expressions, which are perfect for the situation - compared to others, who generally have a silly grin on their faces (check out the grins of Sachin, Apoorva, Rajive or Manish). Another guy who was quite expressive was Parmeet.

Whats with being besotted? Everybody would want to support their fave couples even if they know that there's somebody who's more abler.
Raj and Varun are the best in this competition, no doubt, and they should win. But, freedom of choice and expression is teh keyword.

I dont know why you are getting so upset - you seem to be a newbie here, so you would not have been among the ones who used to post during those days.

When I said "besotted", I didnt mean any sarcasm. I really meant "BESOTTED". Check out some of the posts then - they used to go ga-ga over Armaan Sir (mind you, Armaan Sir, not Apoorva Agnihotri). So it was like he had carried his JJKN persona into NB as well - to hell with how he dances in comparison with others. If this wasnt being besotted, pray what else is besotted?

No offense.

I am praying that V and R are there in the final competetion..The problem with these reality shows is most of the time just to keep in the "Shock factor" and to let people continue watching their show the channel people eliminate the deserving candidates.. 😡
I just hope that Varun and Raj do not fall prey to these tactics...

Cool down guys. Don't get upset. Most likely, Unfortunately, this week is going to be their last week on the show as some of the posts have declaired from inner sources. 😭 😭 😭
May be our wishes were not enough for them. but in any case in my openion Varun/Raj ARE the winneres. just a small mistake at a final stage can not snatch the reality away. As other two couples have also done it in the past(but that time they were better then others so they are still here.) No offense but I am surprised Manish is such an stiff dancer but he will be in the final..... 😕.
If V/R become a part of the final round or not, does'nt matter for such a wonderful dancing couple. Because somewhere it is destined to be like this.(what else can we say)

A big applause from all of us for V/R👏

Varun may be a non dancer but Rajeshwari has had 15 yrs of training in Bharatnatyam. That makes her far more trained than S-S neither of whom have learned any classical dance. So the basic premise is incorrect, Varun's growth chart may be impressive but Rajeshwari always had an unfair advantage right from the start given that she was never a non-dancer.
