Mumbai, Oct 08: Rani Mukerji seems to be facing a real tough time dealing with the fluctuations in her professional life. The actress, who was recently dropped from the prestigious 'Titan' watches ad campaign, has now lost a role in critically acclaimed director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming flick 'Chenab Gandhi'. But this time Rani herself chose to opt out of the project.
Grapevine has it that when Bhansali asked her to be a part of the film, Rani instantly told him to forget the cameo role and give her Vidya Balan's lead part. After hearing the complete narration of the script, the actress reportedly said that she would love to be a part of his film but on one condition - that she plays the lead role!
Reports reveal that after the debacle of Sanjay's 'Saawariya', where Rani played a small cameo, she has decided not to play yet another sidelining role with a junior actress playing the lead, just for Bhansali.
Well, it seems that only 'Yash Raj' can make the most of Rani's potential!
