Oh I am so excited!!! I love Dilwali! Well, because I live in New York City, there will be no grand fireworks, or firecrackers not allowed! But my family and I will be going to the gurudwara, to pray, and light up the divas!😳

Personally, I believe the best place to spend diwali is in India!!! So fun, we would light up the whole house with lights, and run around all day with firecracks, go to the gurudwara. and of course non-stop bhangra.

*sigh* my Nani ji suddenly passed away this Saturday so we will not be celebrating Diwali yet again, but usually we go to the Gurduwara and light a few Diva's at home...this year my family here and back home is a bit upset with waheguruji so we won't be doing anything.
Babaji has taken a lot from us especially my cousin so no one is really feeling the love for babaji right now. this is my 3rd diwali in a row that we will not be celebrating...too many deaths 😔

I'm gonna go to the gurudwara. We go there every year and light divas. Plus theres a stadium there where they have the fireworks and they block some of the parking lot to have fireworks there as well. And at the uni I go to I think they're having a diwali show so I might go there as well
hey simran so sorry to hear that. I know just how you feel. Similar thing happened to me two years ago when people in my family passed away close to vaisakhi. Hope you feel better...
