Hmmm. I still cannot believe to this day, that Himesh Reshammiya has been allowed to "act" in movies. Wow. The mind boggles.

Isn't this the Bhatt films prodcution? It's the Pooja Bhatt film. I've seen this girl act before (sorry to go on about her again lol) and I'm afraid she wasn't very good. Maybe she will surprise in this movie- let's see.

@ the scrutineer: lol. Yes, the acting bug has caught Himesh very badly. I thought his first film would be his last but obviously not! Wonder what he can give to Karz that Rishi couldn't!

I'm just adding a small piece of news regarding this film...hope you don't mind me doing so Hira 😳

It's not recent, back in April. But it gives some more info regarding the film.

T Series' Kajraare, produced by music moghul Bhushan Kumar, and directed by Pooja Bhatt, seems to have finally found its heroine, after an intense search for Pakistani actresses who suited the role.

Divya Khosla, Creative Director, T Series and director Pooja Bhatt have finally zeroed in upon Monalaizza, the popular Pak actress, who is considered the Smriti Irani of Pak television to play the role opposite Himesh Reshamiyya.

"Monalaizza's character is very intense and spans a lot of emotions. We had to look for an actress who would be Pakistani and yet had the persona to essay a character who remains herself though there is a lot in store for her in that journey that is called life through KAJRAARE...", said Divya Kumar.

Director Pooja Bhatt, who is directing her first film outside her own production with T Series avers that "KAJRAARE is an out-and-out commercial film, but one with a heart." She is happy that Monalaizza will be the girl opposite Himesh. "It was Javed Shaikh who helped us find Monalaizza. And she suits the character very well. We checked out over 70 actresses before we finalized her."
Monalaizza is pretty excited about the role. "It is a beautiful character and the emotions that I have to essay are immense. I feel privileged to be selected by Divya Kumar and Pooja Bhatt for this character," she echoes.

Sorry to say but the Bhatt camp at times tend to exaggerate. When they refer to someone as "popular" maybe they should actually find out if that's true. The actress is not as "popular" as they say, across the border. So this will also be Himesh's 3 film....good heavens! The only thing that I find interesting about this film is that it will have the red light area as a backdrop and quite a few interesting stories have come from there.

The question is, do we care to find out? I'm afraid I probably know the answer to that already (it'll run to packed houses) but I will never understand why. Oh well. Just because I can't see Mr. Bowl-haircut (what is UP with that???) as a dashing hero onscreen doesn't mean someone else won't. But I think I shall pass. 😉😛
