Chandra afraid of Neelampari ( something happened in the past Chandra and her family killed Neelampari) Ranjini looked exactly Neelampari because of that Chandra wanted to close watch on Ranjini. she wanted to frame Ranjini with something bad i think
Uma fell in love with the criminal and she thinks Ranjini killed on purpose if Chandra support Uma and prove that Ranjini shot him because she wanted to kill him then Ranjini will lose her job thatswhat she is counting on - let's see whether Ranjini going to court or not.
