want to laugh a little, see traditional India again, wanna see some startling brilliant performances?

i would suggest go and see welcome to sajjan pur.

While we are all battling oveer kidnap and drona, golmal returns, the quiet comedy from shyam benegal, with soft touchiing music from Santanu moitro may became teh silent star of the day

those who havent watched it, i will soon be back with a movie review, as i am too over fulled with it to judge impartially

till then watch thsi movie in your nearest movie hall

watched it yesterday..LOVED IT...awesome movie...with all that comic stuff it mkes you realize what REAL India is like...the rural life depicted is awesome...and Shreyas and Amrita were splendid!! (sorry am a HUGE HUGE Amrita fan so maybe biased)....Ammu rocks!!!

Kunal Kapoor was good in his cameo and Divya Dutta's role was nice as well..(the ending was surprising for me...how unexpected)

overall a great film....but it might be hard to understandthe language..so I suggest you watch it with subtitiles

i had some problme with languages but the film was like a moving picture itself, so detailed, so fun and so wonderful

I was sad Shobha Rani and Compounder were killed other than I loved everything.

Being a massive amrita fan am biased but will try to be unbiased for once though..the film was good love the fact it was different and proper india as i know it :) ..storyline was very interesting i found it and amrita and sheryas who suprisingly was good in the movie not that he was not good in oso but not seen him in the lead so was a bit aprehensive. ...quite funny in place as well.

Yeah...........I really liked the muvie !!
Amrita was really good with the village dialect...She has acted well !!
Shreyas was sooooo funny !!! He has acted fabulously..!!

Must say UTV Spotboy is carving a Niche for itself as a Supercool and Sensible production house ....First "Aamir" and now "Welcome to Sajjanpur"......Nice, both the films are Hits,.....Its a superb track record for a new production house.......100%sucess till now...! Hope they stick to meaningful cinema !!

^OMG dont get me started on her...I'm like the BIGGEST Amrita Rao fan ever....and I was like this girl is amazing throughout the whole film...she managed it SO well...I loved her village dialect...
