I started watching KYM only from this April. Pre-April episodes- I have watched from archives (mostly the Michi scenes). I haven't gone through the live pain that most here have gone through during PIM track and before that.
It was PA track being played when I started with this first K- soap of my life. I have held my breath at the end of many episodes but also have kept my hopes high.
When Milind was getting married to Ayesha, I was expecting Prachi to burst out in front of everyone. I was hoping Prachi wouldn't be able to tolerate her husband getting married to another woman. If not remind her husband of his forgotten past, I was expecting Prachi to at least tell him she can't live without him. But then it didn't happen that way. They made Ayesha blurt out the truth (must say I was pleasantly surprised) and brought about Michi reunion.
After Michi reunion, I was hoping they will show us Michi's blissful life. Though they showed some of Michi's lovely life of being together, they got a Pink lips to attack Milind and they shocked me with showing Neev in a dark light (but suddenly showed him positive too). Let me not even mention how much I hoped for Prachi to get pregnant, Milind to hear it and the family to celebrate.
Then they badly shocked me to hell by bringing an ugly PPP who lustfully fell for Milind instantaneously and vowed to get him at any cost. I was hoping Milind or Prachi to doubt her, if not understand her ugly intentions. But then she planned her wicked plans and cornered Milind in her farmhouse and even made him go unconscious with a mocktail. I was surprised out of my wits to learn Ayesha not only understood Mallika but also got killed in her hands all of a sudden.
But Prachi did get pregnant. But before it could make my dreams rejuvenate, Ayesha's murder news spread out and Prachi didn't have time to tell anyone about her baby.
Then Mallika took total advantage of the situation where Milind got accused of the murder. I was hoping Neev, Prachi or Milind himself (or someone with some common sense) will doubt Mallika as she was the only person who was with Milind when Ayesha was murdered but no one so far didn't even question that woman.
Prachi then in one episode pleasantly surprised me by slapping Mallika twice, showing the PPP woman her place and telling her she would never succeed in her evil intentions. But very soon, she gave up her battle and succumbed to Mallika's trap by deciding to leave Milind for her.
Mallika then got Milind out of jail and tried to seduce him making Prachi speak against him. But Milind reacted the way I wanted him to (I was a pleasantly surprised here that Milind so quickly not only almost strangled that PPP woman, but also defined to her what Prachi is to him).
I then had really high hopes that since Prachi saw all this, she and Milind will bash PPP more and reunite. But no, I was shocked when Prachi ran away from Milind without even waiting to hear what Milind had to tell her.
Then they showed Milind's distraught face in the station that burnt my heart. I thought Prachi will be moved too looking at this and she wouldn't be able to think of anything other than running into his arms. But no, Prachi ran faster than Milind to catch a train which unfortunately met with an accident.
Then they suddenly brought a leap and showed us a distasteful scene between Proteek and Prachi. I was expecting Prachi to react to it angrily and show Proteek his place. But to my surprise she didn't.
Disappointed with Prachi, I was expecting Milind to come back as a ruthless man who will set things right. But I am shocked to hear the speculation that he has turned into a pauper.
But I haven't given up. I still have my hopes (Vasu called me a die hard optimist) that Milind, when he learns all that has happened in the five years, will turn into an angry, ruthless man with a soft heart buried deep inside. I am also desperately hoping Prachi will learn to put Milind and her son as top priority when she has to make choices.
That's how my 4-5 months of a K-serial journey have been. It's quite a roller coaster ride.
