One lie will almost always necessitate more lies.
Simple truism. Got it. But lately, I feel as if I am seeing something bizarre snowball into something so ludicrous, that it's hard to take it seriously.
I lie at times, and I expect others lie just as fluently and just as well. How's that for trust? But I always feel terrible at the end. I rarely lie about important things, because I believe it will come back to haunt me and make everything worse.
So on Vivaah, the situation has become tired at best, and even farcical--it reminds me of crazy characters running around like crazy, trying to get here and there, and doing things only to find the horrible results, trying again, running some more. And this has to end soon.
You've got one event (horrible as it is), an "out of the box", bordering on insane way of dealing with it. You know, when Tanya screams at Yuv "who's going to marry ME?" and Yuv approaches Tanya with sindhoor and she sees it happen. Now, they lie to Trish, Kul lies to Trish and the rest of the family, Yuv lies to Trishna, Yuv lies to Raj, and it keeps going to this day. Now Nupur and her band of merry relatives suspect they are being lied to--you'd think they were searching for the holy grail! with the way they're going at it. So now Trish lies to Rajdeep, lies to Nupur; one lie after one another to cover up for the first.
I know this is an odd way of looking at it, but I'm so annoyed at these people trying to cover up things for two months +, thinking what they're each doing is right, and having all the characters contribute a little something to one major story. You know, we see everyone crying, some more than others, but none of them is doing anything different.
How do you guys feel about the surprising longevity of this pretty inane story. As it will be stretched to extraordinary heights with the picture and Kanaiyah's return which will predictably end in his death.
I just want to take the creatives and say snap out of it! Make this cheesy story move and fall off the board. My opinion may be unwarranted but I've really gotten tired of how this story is being dealt with. Focus on something else--e.g. secret hidden in Nupur's early years, Rajdeep's true parentage, etc.
Let me know your opinion.
