I have no idea ..but i read it in Mahabharat forum that it's written in some purans that Brahamaji got them married...If so then why weren't they staying together ??Krishna married Rukmani , Satyabhama etc. and his 16,100 wives...but was Radha his wife??
There's one more theory that Radha was married to someone else..but she loved only Krishna...Did she marry after Krishna left for Mathura? or sometime before that?
If Radha was an incarnation of Sachi (Indra's wife) then why is it said in JSK and KRishna and many other places that "Vishnu and Laxmi" are meeting for the first time on Earth?
a lot of confusing questions..

I'm sure of one fact and that is Krishna ji had 16,108 wives..8 were his patranis..the rest 16,100 were the daughters of one king..They all were abducted by a demon called Narkasur...Krishnaji freed them all of his captivity...bec. nobody wud have married them after this, Krishnaji saved their honour and married all of them...here's the actual story..
The prince

On his return to Mathura as a young man, Krishna overthrew and killed his uncle Kamsa. He reinstated Kamsa's father, Ugrasena, as the king of the Yadavas and became a leading prince at the court.[40] During this period, he became a friend of Arjuna and the other Pandava princes of the Kuru kingdom, who were his cousins. Later, he took his Yadava subjects to the city of Dwaraka (in modern Gujarat) and established his own kingdom there.[41]

Krishna married Rukmini, the princess of Vidarbha, by abducting her from her wedding. According to some texts, Krishna had 16,108 wives,[42][43] of which eight were chief - including Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati;[44] Krishna subsequently married 16,100 maidens who were being held in captivity by demon Narakasura, to save their honor. Krishna killed the demon and released them all. According to strict social custom of the time all of the captive women were degraded, and would be unable to marry, as they had been under the control of Narakasura, however Krishna decided to marry them to reinstate their status in the society.[45] In Vaishnava traditions, Krishna's wives are believed to be forms of the goddess Lakshmi - consort of Vishnu or special souls attained this qualification after many lifetimes of austerity, while his primary queen Satyabhama, is an expansion of Radha.[46]

ok..i got this info from wikepedia..
Husband of Radha

In a number of versions of her story, although Radha's first love is Krishna (whom she knows through her childhood) she is later forced to marry Abhimanyu, the son of Jatila. One source for this information is Sri Sri Camatkara Candrika by Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura. Other traditions give the name of the husband of Radha as 'Chandrasena'

Is Krishna's primary queen Satyabhama? I thought it was Rukmini, since she's his first wife. And yes, all of Krishna's wifes are expansions of the Goddess Lakshmi. In particular, Rukmini was the re-incarnation of Sita and Satyabhama the re-incarnation of Bhoo-Devi (Goddess Earth). I also heard somewhere else that Satyabhama was the re-incarnation of Chaya Sita (for those who believe that story).
About Radha, I learned that she got married to someone else, but I don't know his name. Also, I learnt when I was small that Radha was distantly Krishna's aunt.

Radha was already married during the RAAS Leela even. Actually her husband was a "Kali Bhakt", and she had two sister-in-laws who used to keep an eye on her. Once they complained to her husband about Radha meeting Kanha, so when the husband came to look for Radha, Krishna took the form of "Maa Kali" and Radha's husband was mesmerised.

I also had heard a story-- that Radha's husband was actually HariBhakt in his previous life and did tapasya. When Bhagwan Vishnu wanted o give him blessing, he asked Bhagwan's wife should be his wife. Since Bhagwan is Bhaktabatsal, he granted him that and Radha became his wife. There is even a story which my aunt told me how Radha's sanctity was protected by Yamunaji, but I dont remember that well.

Can anyone pls explain--- I get a bit confused, is not Radhaji a reincarnation of Mata Laxmi? Then is Rukmini also a reincarnation of Mata Laxmi?
Pls explain
