A word for the creative team of the show. I think they have a bunch of really smart and bold ppl, who are not averse to showing some very realistic moments of the Independence era.
They actually had the gumption to go ahead with the hanging, and overlap it with K's wedding, unlike other soaps, who predictably chicken out of serious plots at the last moment.
The way they showed tauji's hanging, till the end, making sure that the doc announces him dead, so the viewers dont keep waiting for a miracle. WHY are they doing this? They cud have saved him at any point, if thats what they wanted. Or anyone cud have stopped K's wedding.. everything is in their hands, still, they opted for this.
Reason being, this is a realistic show, and the creatives are not chicken hearted nincompoops. Based on today;s episode, I wud give them full marks for staying on course, and I m sure they wud come up with a brilliant track in future.

Hmmmmmmmmm....You think so??

They actually went ahead with the hanging......but weren't we all hoping for some miracle to happen?
Weren't we all in our hearts wanted the track to take a dramatic turn of event.......
What with Raj having chnage of heart.....or Shubu coming to rescue tauji.😳
This was supposed to be love story with Pre-Independece era as back drop........
Getting Kranti married off will ruin the Love story track!
The pristine Simple Innocent love story that most of us were looking forward to will loose it's essence once the story takes such drastic turn of events.
As for realism....sure it's a different show...hence we are watching it....but they don't need to have such desolate track happening.
I read Jyo mentioning that they might have a social messge through it about Sati........and that would be great....but the mudda here is that, it would still ruin the simple love story.
It might still be great show to watch....but right now I feel viloted!!!
Coz it was beautiful blossoming of romance between Raj & Kranti that I was waiting for!!

You are right Nupur.. we had ever expected the show to turn out this serious, and bluntly speaking, we as viewers are not ready to handle such brutally realistic tracks.
But this is where the show is different. It doesnt shy of being honestly brutal, if it comes down to that.
I agree we were mostly pulled by the love story, but the love story was also supposed to be a blazing one, not an innocent and simple one. And most of the conjecture lay on our side..as to how we wanted things to happen..
R-K never had much interaction to begin with, and always, there were a lot many undercurrents. Simply put, the background was more important than THEIR story. Their love EMERGES out of the background, not the other way round.
We might be feeling violated, true, but the love story had never started so far. It will, now, and it will, very interestingly.
This show is realistic in its content, honest in its approach, and gutsy in its execution.

Understood ur point MD that the reality of the revolutionaries have been shown correctly...it was a truth in preindependence era...any extremist krantikari once caught were never let out and were hanged no matter how the trials turned out to be.Abt staying on the track, yah its been done well.🤔
But Sohan Tauji's hanging along with Kranti's wedding was unbearable to watch....so disheartened I became.😭
Nupur,
I agree with u that all these developments has ruined the love story that was supposed to be blossoming b/w Raj and Kranti.

If the creatives wanted to show a realistic type of a story, they shd have stuck to one facet rather than making a biryani out of it.
You want to show the freedom struggle by itself, go ahead I'm all for it.
You want to show social issues then go ahead. There are plenty floating around, from BV to SP.
This was s'posed to be a love story and a period drama. I thought it would be different. But today's introduction of Kranti's sasural (yeeech 🤢 ) has made it like an ordinary soap. I hope the track is well steered otherwise it going to lose its audience.
And the viewers will promise the channel a befitting ta ta!!! 👏

After watching today's episode I was thinking the same...Its not like any other Kekta Shows where suddenly the dead comes alive or some twist in the tale takes place and everything becomes alright and again some other track comes in between from nowhere😆..
In this show there is a certain flow which they r maintaining👏...They wanted to show someone who gives his life for his country and becomes a Shaheed like Bhagat Singh...And this was shown through Sohan Tauji👏..
Then they wanted to show those rituals during the pre-independence era when Girls were sold off to these old men for money and later they turned into widows and had to do lots of sacrifices to live in the society..I m sure they r trying to show this Widow-Remarriage thing through Kranti now😳..
So basically they r just portraying the reality of 1942...
We people hv this habit of seeing Fairy-Tale Romances and so we want only good things to happen in the show according to our preferences😉😆..
But I m happy that the creatives r not falling in that cleeshade genre and r trying to show real facts without compromsing on the storyline😊

What shocks me is, after all this some of you are still waiting to see a love story blooming between KR...

Honestly, if I was in Kranti's shoes I wouldn't want to do anything with a bloody murderer like Raj...

Can't believe they actually went ahead with the hanging and practically killed Raj's character...😲

Raksha ...here Raj is not the Murderer but its the System who is the main culprit😊...As we keep saying Terrorists r also human beings and its the System who produces them..
Raj as a Lawyer was mechanically fighting the case...but who gave the actual direction to this whole case...its the Lt.Governor..but noone is criticizng the Lt.Governor here who is the real murderer🤢..Why ...just because we din't hv any expectations from him😆...
Raj has been just used as a Pawn by the British Government..and just because he was in the forefront fighting the case against Sohan Singh,we r only criticizng him but we r never seeing the other angle of the story here😊...

Jyoti...in that case I hope they don't show any love angle between Kranti and Raj...Because that would be so unrealistic and cliched...
