Sujal gets angry and Kashish laughs at him, she leans over and kisses his cheek and feeds him some ice cream, Sujal takes the spoon off her and feeds her some. Meanwhile back in the car

KK - man our parents are so boring

Ar - tell me about it

The gang start laughing at their parents' boringness not knowing what their parents are up o without them.

Part 19

A few hours later the gang have switched seats again, KK is still driving but because Aryan wanted to sleep in the back seat without KK disturbing him with his music he swapped seats with Karan, and because Tia wanted to sit closer to Karan she swapped seats with Ria. At the back Aryan is sleeping with his head on Ria's shoulder, she keeps pushing it away but it keeps sliding back eventually she gets fed up and leaves it there and eventually falls asleep aswell. Although Karan is sitting next to KK he keeps turning around to talk to Tia, KK feels bored so he talks to Roshni who keeps popping her head forward to talk to him. Everything is going fine until the car starts slowing down.

Kar - KK why are you slowing down for?

KK - I'm not

KK figures something is happening to the car so he steers to the left and slowly the car comes to a jerking halt waking up Aryan and Ria in the process, they realise how close they are to each other and hastily move away from each other

Ar - KK what's wrong?

KK - I don't know, the car just stopped

Ri - well don't just sit there, go see what's happened

Ar - KK if you've done something to my dad's jeep then I'm going to kill you

KK - I haven't done anything

R - guys just go and see what's happened to the car

KK and Aryan get out of the jeep, Aryan checks the tyres and they are fine. KK opens the car door and pulls the switch for the bonnet to open, both the guys have a look at the engine

Ar - seems fine to me, check the petrol

KK - hey Roshni have a look at the petrol gauge and tell me if we have any petrol

Roshni has a look and pops her head out of the window

R - the tank is full

KK - are you sure?

Aryan smacks the back of KK's head, KK holds his head and looks at Aryan

KK - what was that for?

Ar - she won't know if we have petrol or not, she's probably not even looking at the right one, which is why I told YOU to go, now go

KK - fine

KK looks at the gauges and frowns

KK - Roshni which one were you looking at?

R - that one

Roshni points, KK shakes his head

KK - that is the temperature gauge, this is the petrol one, you see, the one that's empty

Roshni shrugs her shoulders, KK goes to Aryan

KK - we're out, didn't you fill up before we left?

Ar - I thought it was full, ok I should have some in the boot

KK and Aryan go to the back of the car and open the boot. Aryan groans seeing the bags in the back

Ar - I forgot, I took everything out last night to make sure we had enough space for the bags

KK - what now?

Aryan shrugs his shoulders and goes to the front and closes the bonnet, KK leans against the car with his arms folded, the others get out

Kar - what's happened?

KK - we're out of petrol, Aryan forgot to fill up before we left

Ar - where are we?

Aryan looks around but can't see a sign

Ar - hey KK check the sat nav and find out where we are

KK nods his head and opens the front door and checks the sat nav, he pokes his head out

KK - we're about 15 miles past Pune

Ar - ok, check where the nearest petrol station or garage is

KK checks then pops his head back out

KK - its about a 10 minute drive, I'm guessing say 25 minutes walking

R - so who is going to go get the petrol?

Ri - I don't mind, I could do with a stretch

KK - you can't go alone, Roshni you go with her

Kar - bruv we can't send them two alone

T - yeah one of you guys should go with her

Ar - any volunteers?

KK - I'm beat from driving, Karan you go

Kar - I want to stay with Tia....

Ar - fine I'll go

The others sit in the car, Aryan grabs his jacket and begins walking, Ria slowly follows

Ri - so were are we going?

Ar - well I'm guessing we have to walk straight until we see the garage

Ri - what if the garage isn't straight, haven't you got a map

Ar - its in the car

Ri - well go get it

Aryan shakes his head and goes back to the car, he gets the map and goes back to Ria and they begin walking

Ri - it was good of Angad chachu to convince everyone to let us go

Ar - yeah he's great

The two continue walking but are Aryan is silent, Ria notices

Ri - Aryan, you ok?

Ar - hmmm

Ri - are you sure?

Ar - yeah

The walk a little further but Aryan's quietness annoys Ria

Ri - ok stop

Aryan stops and looks at her

Ri - now tell me, what's wrong?

Ar - Ria its ok

Ri - its not

They start walking again and Aryan sighs

Ar - Roshni likes KK

Ri - so?

Ar - as in she really likes him

Ri - oh, and what about him?

Ar - he just sees her as a friend

Ri - does that bother her?

Ar - no

Ri - does it bother you?

Ar - I don't know...I guess a little, Roshni's my sister, I want her to be with the guy she loves, even if he is KK, and if he doesn't love her and it hurts her then I can't see her hurt

Ri - KK is a good friend of Roshni's, he will always want to see her happy, he'll never hurt her

Ar - I know, I just wnat Roshni to be happy

Ri - chill Aryan, everything will be ok

Aryan smiles and stops walking, he puts out his arms and Ria hugs him, he hugs her back and kisses her cheek

Ar - thanks

He looks at her for a brief second but quickly lets her go and gazes elsewhere

Ar - we should go, they're probably waiting for us

Ri - yeah sure.

Back in the jeep, Tia and Karan are sitting in the front seats as Karan was next to drive, KK felt like resting so he sat in the back, Roshni was feeling bored so she sat in the back with him, KK glances at the front and sees Karan and Tia engrossed with each other, he shuffles closer to Roshni and begins talking to her quietly

KK - you know we never actually spoke about before

R - about what?

KK - the cafe....ice cream

Roshni remembers that KK is talking about the day she confessed that she liked him

R - what about it?

Kk - well are you ok about it? don't you feel uncomfortable seeing me with other girls

R - I'm used to it

KK - well I ain't

R - you're not what?

KK - before it was ok, but I dunno, I guess I feel kind of weird being with girls when you're watching because I figure you're probably getting jealous

R - I don't get jealous

KK - yeah sure....every random girl gets jealous seeing me with another girl then why wouldn't you, after all you do like me

R - I should never have told you

Roshni starts moving away from him but KK puts his arm around her and pulls her closer

KK - I'm just joking, no I'm glad that you told me, like I said I don't want to see you get hurt, ok here's the deal....in roder for me to be cool that you're not feeling jealous....how about I find you a boyfriend

R - what?

KK - I'm serious....I'll find you a guy that keeps you happy, that way I know you're in good hands

R - you're mad

Roshni shakes her head and sits up and gazes out of the window, KK grins and begins going through his mobile looking at his friends' numbers, Roshni hears him muttering "no, no, no" she looks at him

R - why are you saying no no no for?

KK - I'm havng a look in my phonebook to see which of my friends will be suitable for you

R - definately insane

Meanwhile Aryan and Ria arrive at the petrol station, she waits outside while Aryan enquires about the petrol, he comes back holding a container

Ri - what's that?

Ar - its for the petrol

Ri - oh ok

Aryan fills up the container and pays inside then comes back to Ria and both begin walking back. Soon enough they arrive back to the jeep, Aryan puts the petrol in the car then tells Karan to start the engine

Kar - It's full

Ar - great lets get going

Aryan glances in the car and finds all the seats taken, he nudges Ria

Ar - looks like its you and me in the middle

Ria pretends to frown but laughs with Ayan, they both sit in the car, Aryan leans closer to her and whispers

Ar - thanks.....for before

Ri - its ok

They smile at each other as Karan begins driving the car. At the back KK falls asleep with his arm still wrapped around Roshni's shoulder, she eventually falls asleep and rests her head on his chest. Aryan glances back and frowns, Ria notices

Ri - don't worry, it'll be ok

Coming up - the gang arrive at Goa

Ri - don't worry, it'll be ok

Part 20

After what seemed like an endless journey they gang finally arrive to Goa, Karan stops the car in the driveway of the cottage they're going to be staying at, they all get out of the jeep and stretch themselves then look around

KK - did papa give you the keys to this place?

Aryan shakes his head

Ar - he said that some caretaker would come and give them

Kar - so what do we do now?

Ar - just chill here until he comes

The girls sit back in the jeep while the guys lean against it, after a few minutes an elderly man walks up to them, Aryan goes to him

Ar - hello

C - hello, I'm the caretaker, Mr Khanna had called and told me you were coming, I was expecting you earliar but you didn't come so I went home but I just saw the car so I came

Ar - sorry Uncle Ji, the car broke down, so do you have the keys?

C - yes one moment

The Caretaker rummages through his pockets and pulls out the keys

C - there are three sets

He glances behind Aryan at the girls in the car

C - I suggest you keep one yourself, give one to one of the girls and keep one somewhere outside the house as a spare just in case

The caretaker hands Aryan the keys

Ar - thanks Uncle Ji

C - my son has been shopping so there is already food and he has tidied the place up, have a nice stay

Aryan thanks him again and watches him walk away, he turns and finds the girls have got out of the car, he hands one set of keys to Roshni who puts them in her bag safely, he puts another set in the plant pot hanging above the door then uses the last one to open the front door, the girls rush inside while the guys bring in the luggage, Aryan locks the jeep then closes the front door and puts the keys on the table, he leaves the others and goes to have a look around, the front door opens up to a mini hallway which is part of the main living room. The living room consists of two sofas, two arm chairs and a tv. At the far back on the left of the living room is a door which leads to the kitchen, the hallway then leads off to the main dining area which consists of a dining table and six chairs. At the back of the hallway are the stairs which leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Aryan comes back and finds the others sitting down

Ar - its a nice place, so what do you guys want to do first?

KK - sleep

Kar - yeah sleep but lets call home first

R - yeah, bhai ring mom and dad

Aryan nods his head and calls his home but no one answers the phone, he shrugs his shoulders, Ria puts her hand out and Aryan gives her his phone, she calls her home but no one answers their either, she also shrugs her shoulders and passes the phone to KK who rings his home, the phone rings and Kripa answers

KK - mom?

K - KK! have you lot arrived at the cottage

KK - yeah mom we just got here, Aryan and ria tried calling their houses but no one's answering

K - yeah that's because their parents are here, we were all getting worried, it was late and you guys hadn't called yet so they came here

A - is that KK?

Angad takes the phone from her

A - what part of call us didn't you understand?

KK - chill dad, hold on let me put it on speaker

KK and Angad put the respective phones on speaker

A - you were saying?

Kar - papa we would have called if we were here, but the car had broken down....

S - what? Aryan! what did you do to the jeep??

Ar - nothing dad! I just forgot to fill the tank before we left so we ran out of petrol so the ar stopped but its topped up now...man you care about the car more than me

Ka - never mind that....are the girls ok?

R - yes mama we're fine

Su - well we're glad you finally phoned...make sure you all get something to eat

K - and some rest

Ri - we will mom don't worry

Ka - and make sure you call us everyday

Ar - yes ma

A - ok girls I think they understand everything....take care of yourselves and ring if anything happens

KK - ok dad....bye

KK hangs up and passes Aryan his phone back, he yawns then stands up

KK - man I'm tired...so I'm guessing everyone wants to sleep, so how about we sort out the rooms

The others also stand up

Ar - good idea...Tia, Karan are you guys.....

T - no, we're going to sleep seperately don't worry

Ar - good, I've had a look and there's six bedrooms upstairs and only 2 of them have en suite bathrooms, there's one family bathroom aswell..so 1 each?

Ria glances around the room

Ri - sorry but I don't want to sleep on my own in this place

Roshni also looks around the room and shakes her head

R - me neither

T - well how about all three of us share?

Ar - yeah but there's only a single bed in each room

KK - yeah but for their sakes we'll get two of the single beds from two of the other rooms and put them in the one with the en suite

Ar - cool......so we'll each have one room

Kar - I don't know....

He glances at KK

Kar - I'm kind of used to sharing the room with KK

KK - me too...

R - well why don't you do the same with your room.....get the two beds from the last two rooms and put them in the one with the en suite

Ar - ok then.....come on guys give me a hand

The girls sit back down while the guys go upstairs to move the beds around, KK stands by the stairs and calls out to them

KK - you could help!

The girls moan but follow him upstairs, they see Aryan and Karan carrying a matress to the girls' en suite room

KK - one of you come with me and help me take the other matress

Roshni follows him and both carry the materess to the girls room, Ria and Tia make themselves useful and move the other materesses into the guys room. Aryan and KK lift the first two beds and take them to the girls room where Karan and Tia put them in suitable places and put the materesses on, they then lift the other two beds and take them to the boys room where Ria and Roshni stay to put them in suitable places and put the materesses on top. Aryan goes and gets the covers and all help in putting the covers on, once its finished KK heads downstairs and grabs the bags and brings them upstairs, he gives the girls their bags and takes the guys bags to the guys room. The guys lie on the beds instantly feeling tired while the girls lounge around for a while but they also lie on the beds, soon enough they're all sleeping.

*The next day*

Roshni is first to wake up, she looks at the other beds and sees Ria and Tia still sleeping, she leaves them to it and gets her toothbrush, toothpaste, some clothes and towel and goes to the bathroom to have a shower and brush her teeth, when she's done she puts the other clothes on her bed and leaves thw towel in the bathroom and heads outside, she peeks in the guys bedroom and sees them still sleeping so she heads downstairs and goes to the kitchen and makes herself a cup of tea and piours herself some cereal then goes to the living room and sits in the arm chair and watches tv. Half an hour later she hears footsteps, she turns and sees KK

R - you're up early

KK - couldn't sleep

KK lies on the sofa and glances at Roshni's mug of tea

KK - did you happen to make any tea for us?

R - no I didn't think you were going to be awake

KK - i see...

R - I'll go make some more

KK - thanks

KK asks her to pass him the remote as she gets up, she goes to the kitchen and makes the tea while KK changes the channel, she hands him the mug, he sits up and begins to drink it, one by one the others come downstairs and Roshni brings them all tea, Aryan sits by KK while Tia and Karan sit together on the other sofa and Ria and Roshni sit on the arm chairs

Ar - so what are we going to do today?

R - sight seeing?

KK - not today...ater all that driving yesterday, lets go somewhere nearby

Kar - papa told me about this place so I checked up on it...apparently there's a lake behind the cottage

The gang glances at each other then without saying anything they all rush to the dining room, KK rushes to the door at the end which leads to the garden, he tries it but its locked, Karan goes and gets the keys frm the table ad KK tries each of the keys and unlocks the door the opens it, they all go outside, there is a pathway which leads to a fence, they all go and sees the fence is there to stop anyone falling into the lake, behind them is a small shed

KK - hey there's a barbecue there

Ar - yeah maybe we can have a barbecue one of the days

T - cool

Kar - ok so I'm thinking there's no way to get over the fence except to jump it

KK - cool so guys...lets get our shorts on and get in the lake....girls you going to come

T - I will!

R - I think I'll pass

Ri - yeah maybe another day

Aryan hands Roshni the keys the follows the others inside, Roshni finds some garden chairs and gets two for herself and Ria and both sit down so they have clear view of the lake

R - its beautiful

Ri - hmmm yeah you like this kind of stuff right?

R - yeah

The guys come out wearing just shorts and Tia comes out in a t shirt and shorts, Ria glances at Aryan and is shocked to see him topless, he catches her staring and goes close to her and whispers

Ar - see something you like?

Ria shakes her head frantically but Aryan grins and winks at her then hands Roshni a video camera

Ar - make a video for the folks

Aryan shows her ohw to work the camera and she begins to film, the guys easily jump the fence but Karan has to help Tia

R - be careful

Roshni and Ria get up from the chairs and lean against the fence to watch the others, Roshni films them as they jump into the lake, Ria fights the urge not to stare at Aryan as he comes up from under the water, she bites her bottom lip then shakes her head and looks elsewhere

KK - hey lets see where the lake goes

Kar - cool

KK looks at Roshni and yells out to her

KK - we're going to see where the lake goes, keep filming us!

R - ok but don't go too far!

Ri - and be careful!

R - you sound like Suhana aunty

Roshni giggles but Ria hits her lightly, Roshni films the others as they begin walking across the water to find out where the lake goes.

Kar - Tia hold my hand

KK - and stay close guys

They begin walkig slowly taking care not to slip, Aryan leads them watching each step, KK looks around when he hears a loud noise, he looks and sees a large dog barking, he taps Aryan's shoulder

Ar - its ok, he's behind a fence

KK - what if he jumps it?

T - ok...I say we get out of here

The others agree, Roshni and Ria don't know what's going on but just see the others frantically trying to make their way back, Ria rushes inside and gets some towels, by the time she's back KK is climbing over the fence, she gives him a towel and gives one to the others whenthey climb over

R - what happened?

T - there was a dog

KK - a big dog

Kar - so we came back

Ri - you shouldn't have gone in the first place

Ar - we'll go again tomorrow but we'l go left instead of right

The others grin and nod their heads

KK - ok I'm freezing, lets go inside

They quickly run inside while Ria and Roshni slowly follow, the others get changed and sit on the sofas feeling cold, Roshni brings them cups of tea

R - so what's for lunch?

Ar - hmm Karan any nice places to go for lunch?

Kar - one second

Karan heads upstairs and comes back with some sheets of papers, he hands them to Aryan

Kar - have a look, I've highlighted the things in different colours, blue is for the sight seeing places we can go, green is for the parks and fun places we can go, red is for places to eat and orange is for the clubs and restaurants

Ri - what about shopping?

Kar - that's yellow

Ri - cool

Ar - ok there's a place which isn't far from here.....Benny's...we can go there

KK - cool, lets go

Ar - hey KK I forgot to ask you...

KK - what?

Ar - did you bring the PS3?

KK - course bruv....I don't go anywhere without it

R - great that's all you guys will be doing

KK - ok we won't play all the time...

Ar - yeah just late at night when you've gone to bed

Aryan and KK grin at each other while Roshni shakes her head

T - ok can we go? im hungry

Kar - yeah lets go

The gang get their jackets and Aryan gets the keys and they all leave the cottage

Ar - shall we take the jeep?

R - lts walk bhai, its close like you said

Ar - ok then

The gang begin walking, Aryan and Karan walk in the front to make sure they're going the right way, Ria and Tia walk just behind them while Roshni is behind them with KK. They arrive at the cafe, they all go inside and sit together to have lunch

Coming up - The gang's lunch at Benny's is spoilt when Aryan gets into a fight....Karan and Tia go for a romantic walk together while Ria insists on Aryan to take her shopping
