By taking Prachi to Kolkatta and converting her into Panchi Dasgupta, the creatives have succeeded in covering all the three zones that matter. South zone is never in the picture because most people there are not avid watchers of hindi serials. So there are the Shahs to represent the west zone, the Shergills to represent the north and the Dasguptas to represent the east. Wish they will show as much thoughtfulness in penning a believable story.

I am from South.. and yes I am foolishly following this serial. 😭

Shubs you dont cout. You are not even in the country. the producers only look at where their money comes from. South thankfully is saved of the K-serial menace. They have much better shows which have them glued to their sets.

🤣 I need to ask my mother-in-law..she is glued to sun tv watching Kolangal, kasturi and what not on it!!!

Opti Akka, I don't know about other South Indian languages, but there are several Kannada soaps (except for one or two meaningful shows) that suck in a similar way. Many elderly women in my family suffer with those serials raising their BPs.

there r many Kserials in telugu produced by ekta like kavyanjali & kalyani which is now being aired as kasturi in hindi.but thanks to gemini tv for ending this 2 shows in less than a year.

I used to watch kolangal but gave it up..... but i like a lot of reality shows on vijay tv...😳
