Roger Federer has won his fifth US Open in a row by beating Andy Murray in the final 👏 👏

6-2 / 7-5/ 6-2.

I'm a huge fan of Federer and he truly deserve this Gran Slam.

Congrats to our dear Roger Federer...I think he was playing a great match.

I must say that Murray has also show us great tennis...The semifinal was really good between Murray and Nadal....and in the other Semi final Federer played also a fantastic match with Djokovic

At wimbledon Nadal had won and I said that the next one will fe for Roger Federer..so here it it.

Keep it up Federer because you are back !!!!

He played flawless tennis and deserved to win.Murray played well throughout the tournament but Federer's display in the final showed the difference between a very good player and a champion. Murray played very well but still has a fair bit to do. But he's a very promising player.

Being a Nadal fan, I was disappointed that he didn't make it to the final. Federer vs Nadal matches are always the best, in my opinion. But well done Federer, what a performance!

Thirteen is a big number for Roger, congratulations to him 👏 He is truly making history out there, not only for himself, for but the sport as well. He played some of the best tennis in his last three matches, than he has for a while, and it's a fitting end to the fourth Grand Slam of the year.

All said and done, the ATP tour at the moment is a hotbed of change and the rise of the new generation. The remaining season, and 2009 will be great, something to look forward to.

^^ By the way, I like your Fed siggies. He looks nice esp in the first one....I love his hair colour now. It's so much better than his blonde days. And his bandana makes his hair look even better. I'm slightly mad...I know! But along with the tennis he plays, I also love his silky hair lol 😆 😳

2008 hasn't been a good year for him...but this US Open victory will give a big boost!!!
He played awesome tennis in the final..he was ruthless..
Murray wasn't bad too.. but Fed showed his class in the final!!

Yes the semi-final was very thrilling and I enjoyed it, despite being upset that Nadal lost! Murray was exceptional in the semi.....but I also feel that Nadal was not playing tennis of his level. Something was missing. But the final was good to watch-even though it was one sided. It was good to watch the class and elegance of Roger Federer.
