GK and her expressions!!

I have been watching Gurdeep over 3 months now I think as part of Kasamh Se cast, as new Bani but is being called Pronita because of her accident etc etc.,

When I saw Gurdeep, I thought she had a sweet face and soft look...she also stated as senior artist she will do justice to the role, I agreed as after the leap PD looked too young to be Ganga's mother alongwith the other kids....

Gurdeep is no doubt a senior artist but her over expressions( specially the arched eyebrow) and to much expressions does not give viewing pleasure specially when we are used to seeing PD's subtle expressions and of course RK's awesome acting whenever he gets a chance, very rarely though nowadays...Since it is all GK on the screen, she should use her experience and deliver accordingly and not go about as a kathakali dancer, while he has has no dialogues and have to convey through his expressions, Gurdeep has enough dialogues to help her, with an appropriate voice modulation she can do so....over acting is not good acting....Your thoughts friends, Tin

I also watched KS post PD's departure. Thought I would give GK a chance as a more mature Bani. But unfortunately I couldn't connect GK's portrayal of Pronita to Bani. The over the top acting, the ever arching eyebrows, and rolling eyeballs were completely distasteful.

PD's subtle soulful portrayal of Bani didn't connect with Pronita whose face could be horribly distorted even in the most touching of scenes. There is no sublety no soulfulness in Pronita. Even her interaction with JW left me cold. She always seemed older than him, scolding him, arching her eyebrows. There was and is no hint of chemistry between JW and Pronita. It always seems forced.
