Fashion to me is… Everything! We created it and we are responsible for it. It is not just about picking what is comfortable, but it is about identifying what looks good and carrying it with an attitude.

Brands that I dig on... D&G, Adidas, Reebok. I am not very particular about brands; I pick what appeals to me.

At home, you would find me lounging in….a pair of jeans or shorts.

My gym wear is... Tracks or shorts and of course, my very comfortable pair of shoes.

Formal look to me is... Indian ethnic wear. There is so much of grace in the Indian look…nothing can come close to the beauty of Indian wear.

Casual look for me is… Shorts

My party ensemble is...a well-fitted jeans, shorts or a one-piece.

My classic style statement is… kurtas, tube type suit. I design my kurtas. I love to mix and match colors and bring it to life. And I have been getting a whole lot of compliments for my designs.

Indian designers that I follow… Not exactly anybody. I design my clothes.

The ultimate style icon to me is… None in particular. But I admire Kajol for her sense of dressing. Though she is dark, she knows the colors that go well with her.

A must have in my purse is… Deodorant, perfume and lipstick.

My party look for the season is…. Jeans, shorts, one-piece...which have bright shades.

The perfume, which is my signature statement… Eternity and Musk.

The colors of this season… Bright colors are in this season. I love to play with pink, fuchsia and florescent, green. It also depends on what suits one.


I'm a fashion junkie when it comes to… Shoes. I am also very particular about my accessories and almost everything to match the colour of every dress I wear. If I wear a purple dress, I make sure until I get purple shoes, I will not wear that dress. Some may call it being picky and choosy, but I call it being particular. I am in a profession where I can see eyes following me all the way through.

My favorite designer is… None

My most expensive dress is…. A dress, which made a hole in my pocket. It costed my close to 25,000, but it was worth every penny. It is a classic party wears, done up with rhinestones and semi precious stones.

My most embarrassing fashion faux pas is… It was the first party of Bidaai and we were told about it. But Parul and I had forgotten about the party and had dressed very casually for the occasion. I was dressed in a black and yellow pajama kurta. It was only after seeing everybody, did we realize that there was a party. Surrounded by a bevy of gorgeous women and handsome men, we walked into the party looking like we were lounging in a pajama party. That was the most embarrassing faux pas!

My fashion statement for the season is…. Wear whatever looks cool on you. Keep in mind to go with what suits you rather than going with the trend of the season.
