my first job is at a local grocery store baggin groceries i still work there its gonna be year in oct

Hats off to you youngsters with jobs..

I think in the US, the youngest age to work is 14....(But you can only work like 24 hrs total, and it must be on the weekends etc...its realy strict for 15-14 yrolds....

BUt my advice,, dont forget to enjoy the younger days, yea money is great, but the time spending with freinds/family is awesome, you have so much time to work when you leave college...lol....

I enjoyed my younger days, it was awesome, just have the perfect balance between work and school etc...

mine 1st job was just 4 2 months... as mine vacation was goin on. so i wrk where mine mom use 2 wrk ... i use 2 get berry less dat tym as i was small n dere was no wrk den writing a nos . hehehe

you are a really wise person yaar, hats off to you, i am totally enjoying my life and doing A Levels and voluntary work as an advocate, its quite fun, id rather stay on EMA yet instead of getting a job, and guys remember working is appreciated, you may have the greatest grades or degrees but you cant get a job untill you have the work experience.

ur So true...In this world, jobs are available for everyone! So competition is stronger when you leave college..Plan ahead before you exit college and go into the work force...In the US, some jobs are really competitive at the entry level position! My best advice, join clubs, take positions in those clubs, volunteer and work at internships while in college. Jobs love to see ppl with ambition, even if they never held a "job" so to speak...

OMG! You are good! Save Yar! I tink when you work, you see the value of a dollar so to speak...I use to buy videogames like crazy when i was younger lol..But then i had to save for a car...Which is like a videogame except its reall!!! wooot!😲😛 (dont worry im safe)😳

Wow times are changing...

I think in the US the pay is increasing because the Consumer price index (CIP) is also increasing...

when i held my first first first job i used to get paid $6.00 an hr (this was 6years ago i think, as a casheir at a drug store)..I was like "WOWOWOW" thats coool! I quit 3months after because I wanted to enjoy my schoool days and have fun....lol Money was good, but freedom is even better!😆

I was so happy..lol

But after, i went to work for a couple of years at the mall while in college lol... College and working =🤢🤢
