Indian Idol or 'North' Indian Idol

We are approaching the second stage of Indian Idol this season ... the theatre round at mumbai.... but it is quite surprising about the callous attitude of the organisers of this show..... Even though the name of the show is "INDIAN" Idol, it is quite disappointing to see that they have not at all bothered to have a single audition in any of the south indian cities like Banglore, Hyderabad, Madras or Cochin..... Considering the geography of the country atleast one audition in any one of the south indian city would have been welcome.

This totally defeats the purpose and undoubtedly creates a linguistic barrier. The show should immediately apologise for hurting the sentiments of a major portion of the indian population.

Ya i agree altho i am from lucknow but i was surprised that they did not have a single audition in the south 😕

i totally agree...although i am a bengali myself..i do believe they have such talented singers in the south.
But surprisingly..the singers themselves have not raised their voice against such discrimination..
all of india should be included in a show which is especially named "Indian Idol"!!!!

its there show.. let them do what they want!.. if i was living in the south.. and really wanted to be the indian idol... i would go up north. and try out.. maybe going south is inconvenient for them..

im not saying its good that theyre not going there or anythign... im just saying.. its useless to argue this.. its their show.. they go where they want...
