New Delhi, Aug 08: Iqbal Khan, popularly known as 'Angad' among his fans for his role in TV serial 'Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai', is against intrusion into the lives of celebrities in the ever increasing reality shows on the small screen.
Iqbal, who is returning to the small screen with yet another serial based on the life of a underworld don, feels it is uncalled for as it makes their lives a public subject.
"Reality shows interfere in your personal life to a great extent. People love their privacy but these shows make life a public affair," he says.
The actor says he has no plans to join such shows.
"These shows are good to watch as they offer some drama but as far working is concerned, I am not comfortable doing them," confesses Iqbal.
The actor is playing the lead role of a mafia don's son in 'Waaris'. Famous silver screen actor Ashish Vidyarthi has portrayed the character of his father in the serial.
It is a family drama set against the background of the underworld, which deals with the life of a fading don and how his son takes over his father's empire.
"It's a story of a family that doesn't deal with drugs or contract killings. We fight for the right cause. Its a story about a son, played by me, who loves his family and worship his father. He is a man of words, but very short-tempered ," says Iqbal.
