Germany not to play in Olympics??

I was just checking out the Olympics 2008 website, and I did not see Germany in the line-up list for Men's football!! Only saw for Women's...
I swear I remember hearing something earlier about them playing this year. I dunno why they aren't in the list, why wouldn't they qualify? Does anyone else know about this?😳

Germany didnt qualify for the Olympics, the four places UEFA had were given to those who reached to the semifinale in UEFA European Under-21 Football Championships.
