I have watched Ekta Kapoor soaps for a long time, like many of us but I feel the way the shows Kasturi and Kis Des Meh hai mera dil's changing gears of actresses is just plain sloppy and unprofessional.
I understand she runs a business, she is handling differences between the actors... but as of late her shows are not engaging. I understand no actor is bigger than the concept of the show, but in an effort to penalize or replace actors..she is letting the quality of the show suffer.
First of all the new parallel lead in Kasturi is not up to mark, she is not as engaging as Robbie or Kasturi. And there is no chemistry between Robbie and the new girl. Everytime they come on the screen I change the channel. I have stopped watching altogether. I have to say I still find the lady playing Kasturi more engaging.
Then there is Kis Desh Meh Hai mera dill, Heer literaly flew out into a tree. And she has been planning to leave for so long, I rather just see it end. Again I really enjoy the Prem and heer chemistry, but again its being done sloppy.
Just my two cents.
