| The pair worked their magic once in Pyaar Ke Side Effects, and Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose are doing it again in their upcoming Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam. Rahul reportedly has four kissing scenes with Mallika in the movie. While the chemistry between the two actors in Pyaar Ke... impressed audiences and critics alike, their on-screen kiss left viewers wanting more. TOI finds out what it takes to get the smooch smack on. Shahid Kapur-Kareena Kapoor, Jab We Met Things might not be hot between this couple at the moment, but these stars sizzled with their kiss. The movie was a super hit and the kiss much talked about. While most real life couples fail to impress with their on-screen chemistry, these ex-lovers made it look like a piece of cake. "The kissing scene looked natural, but it wasn't really necessary for the story," says stylist Gouri Kapur. Actress Sharmila Mandre says that though the scene was good, "it didn't leave a lasting impression". Model Ritu Majumdar agrees, saying, "You can call that kiss cute, but not hot." Saif Ali Khan-Bipasha Basu, Race The chemistry between the pair was so sizzling that there were rumours of an affair. Saif and Bipasha's dare-bare and kissing scenes in Race made quite an impact on the audience. "It didn't look like they were acting," says Sharmila. "Their chemistry was superb and the scene looked very hot. Seeing them, you'd have thought Saif and Bipasha are actual lovers," she says. Mallika Sherawat-Emraan Hashmi, Murder Their kisses and under-the-sheet scenes made more headlines than the movie itself. Mallika and Emraan took puckering up in Bollywood to a new level altogether and went on to become serial kissers themselves. "I was shocked at first to see the intimate scenes," says Manoj P, a gym instructor. "But I appreciate the fact that they made the shot look so real and were unapologetic about it. It was about time Bollywood came of age and Murder made sure that happened," he says. But Ritu found the kissing scene ugh. "It looked like they were eating each other up," she says. Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Dhoom 2 There were a lot of ifs and buts about this scene and it didn't make Pa Amitabh Bachchan too happy, but the Ash-Hrithik kiss certainly worked for the audience. "I think their kiss was one of the hottest in Bollywood. They're both hot and made the scene look sensual," says Ritu. Sharmila seconds the opinion, saying, "The scene was shot aesthetically and did not look vulgar as most other kisses do." |
