I fall short of superlatives to define the impact of this book on me. A hardcore, blatantly realistic narrative has been weaved by Sheldon in the most laconically fantastic manner. Allaying the harsh undertone of the plot yet providing an even more scintillating stroke to the story is the bond between Michael and Jeniffer. There is something so galvanic between them; Sheldon crafts their chemistry in the most fulfilling way possible. As for Adam and Jeniffer, this was one of the uglier realities of life present with classical elan..........their love was obvious and heartfelt
, something that made me root for them despite the fact that what happened between them shouldn't have happened.
However my favorite bond remains that existing between Jeniffer and Joshua. The dialogues were such heartwarming experiences yet never bordered on the lines of maudlin melodrama, there was a gratifying element of jocularity in their interactions.
All in all, Rage of Angels is an indulgent page-turner. You don't realize the passage of time until you have turned the last page.
