All this was done so that I get tears and give the shot right! Though this was planned so there's a genuine feel to the scene, I cried really badly. Later it was revealed to me that it was all an act to make me cry and get the real feel."

She feels lucky to have co-actors like Akash Deep Saigal, Taraana and Jayati who help her with her scenes. "The vanity van on shoot was like a paathshaala where they pitched in to teach me how to improve and keep little things in mind while giving a shot."

These days, Dimple is also doing the reality show Kabhi Khabhii Yaar, Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar. Dimple has wisened up and learnt the difference between modelling and acting on television, "There's huge difference between the two. While modelling you have to smile for a pretty picture while in acting you have to do three-four things at a time. I was nervous initially but now I'm used to it."
