In all cases, movies are always disappointing compared to the book. This is because the book goes into small detail, while the movie goes on just the top things. You can't cover so much in just one movie! Remember, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was the first long book JK Rowling wrote. The first three books were really short, so that's why they could cover most of the book. But since the fourth book is so long, you can't really blame them for not covering all of it. It's the longest Harry Potter movie to date, how much longer do you want to make it? I agree with punk princess, they should've just made two movies if they couldn't cover everything. But even if they did make two movies, I still don't think anyone would've been satisfied. Obviously they can't cover each and every detail. So give them a break.
I totally agree. You will definately be disappointed if you compare the movie to the book. In my opinion, GOF was already quite long compared to other movies!(not that i mind😳)
