It is said that 'if bread is the staff of life, then corn is life's sceptre.' Understandably so, for corn is everyone's favourite snack so much more pleasing in this season with it being taken hot off the orange embers and served with a dash of lime, adding a little colour and spice to many a dreary, rainy day.

"It's our favourite ," echo young television couple Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Shaikh. "You know, I normally don't like to go and get wet in the rains, but I do give in to the temptation of buying a bhutta from near my home," laughs Sanjeeda. While she likes corn minus the butter, Aamir loves his absolutely spicy. "My bhuttawallah smears it with this special chilli-lime mixture that he knows I love," smiles Aamir.
