Ekta Kapoor and her family has gifted a 5-series BMW to Sanjay and Manyata

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata seem to have become the favourite couple of Jeetendra, Shobha, Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor. The Kapoors have gifted a black 5-series BMW to Sanjay and Manyata.

A source close to Sanjay tells us, "It's a fantastic gesture by the Kapoors. The Kapoors and the Dutts have a long working relationship. The best part is that Manyata drives this car more than Sanju does."

Ekta's maternal uncle, Ramesh Sippy (CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures) confirms, "Yes, we have presented a black BMW to Sanju and Manyata. We love and respect the Dutt family.

We recently called Sanju to shoot for a special song for C Kompany and he responded like family and not a businessman. He has a heart of gold."

Why a BMW? Sippy explains, "Well, the in-thing is to gift watches. But I know that Sanju has a lovely collection of watches. So what better than that, we wondered, and then came to the conclusion of presenting a BMW.

This car is more for Manyata and I guess she'll drive it. I think Sanju prefers something fancier than a BMW."

Recently, the Kapoors and the Dutts had signed a deal to produce films together. Talking about the deal Sippy says, "We are going to do many films together. Right now, we have two projects in place, to be directed by Milan Luthria and Apoorva Lakhia. Both will star Sanju."

Meanwhile, we hear, it's raining gifts on Manyata. Anil Kapoor and his wife Sunita gifted a diamond set to Manyata. The set is designed by Sunita Kapoor signature Line Sunita's own brand.

Dharam Oberoi (CEO, Sanjay Dutt Productions) remarks, "It's a very sweet gesture by the Kapoors. We have a driver for this BMW and bhabhi (Manyata) uses it.

Anil and Sunita have also given a very beautiful diamond set to bhabhi. It's really special."
