CHARACTERS

Juneja Parrivar

Juneja family, India ki sabsa amir, namdaar, isatman parrivar. Is family mein sab kuch

hai, nam, shorat, pyar, ishat, abero, sab kuch. Pichla 15 sal sa is family na aboard shift ki hai, Canada mein. Magar ajj ana wale hai, apne dis mein, apna Punjab mein, Hindustan mein.

Lalit Juneja

Head of the juneja family, and dad of Prem, Harman, Preet, Kulraaj ,Veera and husband of gayatri.

Gayatri Juneja ' Wife of lalit

Prem Juneja(Lead Protoganist) ' Lalit Juneja's oldest son, the most pleasant and hardworking of the brothers. He cares for his work and takes it very seriously. He doesn't have time for women in his life.

Preet Juneja ' The youngest of the sons and the most outgoing. He is outgoing, sweet and quite a flirt. He is known as the stud of his college. Him and Lalit do not agree on anything.

Harman Juneja ' The second oldest son. He is a big believer in the family business but is always side tracked by lalit. He is secretly jealous of Prem and hates his guts.

Veena and Kulraj are not in it as of yet.

Maans

Balraj and Teji Mann- Husband and wife, and have two children. Mehar and Heer.

Heer-She is a sweet, shy girl. However if she were to get mad, you will see a different side of her, especially if it involves her family members. She is currently in college and has a crush on her best friend Rahul.

Mehar-Mehar is Heers irresponsible, outgoing, fun sister. She is popular because of her not caring attitude. She likes to be called Meera

Others

Rahul Mehra- Heers best friend, the jock on the school, and is crushing on Mehar.

Preity Malhotra- The rich annoying brat on the college and rival of mehar.

First update: Andeka Anjana sa

Its early in the morning at the Mann house, everyone is sleeping, except for Heer who is lost on her thoughts.

Heer: Kaisa liko, mujhe to shayire atahe nahi hai.
All right I can do this.
(Aisa pehle bar huwa hai satra artra saloo mein, andekha anjana sa analaga hai kayalon mein.)
Ha yeh teek hai. She continues to write, and as she is writing, she becomes lost.

-Dreaming-
Heer, mein tumse kuch kehna chate hoon, I love so much. Bahot pyar karte hoon.
(The shadowy figure of a man, holds heer in his arms and tears start to flow from his eyes. The hold is so strong that it starts to rain)
Heer snaps out of it
Heer: Haila, kitne pyare sapna tha, I wish Rahul would say those beautiful words to me.

-Mehar enters-

Mehar: Are yeh kya hora hai, aren't you ready yet, hame school jana hai. Stupid girl, jab dekho apne kayalun mein koa ho. Enough is enough. Aur yeh kya hai, tumhare haat mein.
Heer: Kuch nahi
-Mehar takes the poem from her hand and starts to read it-

Mehar: Ohhh to yeh bhat hai, who is this andekha anjana sa.
Heer; Its only a poem Mehar
Mehar, whatever, just stop calling me Mehar, its so tacky, Its meera okay.
Heer: rolls her eyes- alright meera

-They leave for school-

Mehar: Yeh babuji bhi na, I need a car, I can't keep riding a bus.With these smelly Indians.
Heer: Chup koi sun la ga
Mehar: Sun la do

Mehar goes into the bus and Heer's purse falls so she goes to get it, but by the time she turns around the bus has already left.

Heer: nooooooooooo, rokh jao, please, rokh jao,I'm going to be late.*cries*

- A car pulls up and splashes water on her-
Heer: oh my god*cries even more*
Can this day get any worse……
Rahul: Heer! Are you okay, I'm so sorry, maine tumhe nahi dekha… Please forgive me.
Yeh to batao, tum neecha kya karahata.
Heer; mere bus choot gaye, and now I'm going to be late, upar se, mera salwar kameez be bheg gaya. I look terrible
Rahul: mera liya to tum, humasha ache lagte ho.
-Heer blushes-
Rahul: um Meera dekhaye nahi data, kaha hai
Heer: vo to chala gaya
Rahul: oh (disappointed), ao mein tumhe lift data hoon
Heer: thank you rahul
Rahul: dosti mein koi thank you nahi, teek hai, come on

-She gets into the car and one of the town ladies look at them disgustingly-

Rahul: toh kaisa ho?
Heer: teek hi hoon, ajj pata hai, India ki mashoor family, jenuja family ana wala hai. Itsnt it exciting
Rahul: I guess, voh log kitna boring hai.
Heer: tum usa janta ho
Rahul: yah, infact I'm going to their welcome party today. Snore
Heer: oh my gosh, your so lucky, I wish ke ma bhi invited te
Ragul: smiles- how about if you come, tum aur meera…you'll be my invited guests.
Heer: are you serious, wont they mind
Rahul: no way…
Heer: rahul you're the best*shyly*

-Reach college-

Priety: My darling Rahul, what took you so long.
Rahul: awkwardly*- nothing, voh heer raste mein mile.
Priety; ohhhhhh voh larke, anyways mein ja rahe hoon goa, for a week, I'll miss you.
She kisses him on the lips
Heer: ummm
Rahul: heer..umm
Heer: mujhe jana hai
Tears in her eyes

Heer runs to the girls washroom and starts to cry..

Mehar: Heer are you crying, kya huwa.
Heer: kuch nahi di, mein teek hon. Mein sirf naraz hoon kyun ka tum
Mujhe bus stop mein choor deya
Mehar: oh I'm sorry, mein tumhe bolaya, magar tum to nahi suna.
Heer: ya right..anyways dekho meera, we are invited to the juneja party by rahul.
Voh juneja parrivar ko janta hai.
Mehar: SHUT UP!!! NO WAY……
Heer: Ha di, yeh sach hai
Mehar: panics- oh my god, mein kya pehno gi..Its so stressful being me
Heer: um wear that new dress, that you wore to uncle niyat ki wedding mein.
Mehar: kya no way, mein voh dress kabhi nahi pano gi, I need a new dress
Heer: hum new dress kaha sa layinga
Mehar: don't worry, I can handle it

-Priety enters-
Oh behno ki beech yeh kya bhaat ho rahe hai
Mehar: whispers to heer: yeh lo iske hi kami thi kamine…
Priety: kya kaha
Mehar: kuch bhi nahi
Priety: I know ka tum log Juneja party mein jana chata ho, magar tumhare ohkat kya hai. You can't even afford to shine their shoes. Kya samaj ta ho apne ap ko. Aur tum, you stupid gawar,(points to heer), stay away from Rahul, he is mine, you hear me.
-She goes to slap her, but mehar holds her hand-
Mehar: excuse mein, kabhi yeh gahalati maat karna,don't you dare slap my sister, you may have riches but you are filth in my eyes.
Priety: come on gang, I don't want to listen to these two losers.

Heer: thanks di
Mehar: no prob, magar next time, I wont be there to save you okay


Class

Heer and Rahul: so boring
Rahul; yeh professor desai ko kuch bhi yaad nahi ata. He is repeating the same lesson to us again.
Professor desai: where was I, oh yes welcome to the exciting world of chemistry. Turn to page 1
Heer : magar sir, we already did this
Desai: excuse me…..get out….noww.
Rahul: magar she didn't do anything sir
Desai: tum bhi niklo, get out.

-They both leave and starts to laugh-
Heer: its not funny, abb agar mera papa ko pata chala
Rahul: don't worry, just focus on the party tonight.


Juneja family-Airport

Lalit: Gayatri, yeh tum kya karaha ho
Gayatri: ek minute, mein apni bags dun rahi hoon..
Lalit: voh gopal kara ga, yaha ao
Gayatri: kya dekh raha ho
Lalit: yeh bacha nazar nahi ata, kaha hain

Gayatri: voh sab bahar kara hai!
Lalit: oh to chalo, mere jaan
Gayatri: chup, kya kehra ha ho

Outside---

Preet: disgusting, absolutely disgusting…..Do you smell that
Lalit: hah yehi to humari India hai
Preet: right.
Lalit: yeh larka to kabhi sudra ga nahi
Gayatri: tum dono phir sa shuro ho gaya
Preet: mein ja rahi hoon…to explore for a bit before the driver comes
Lalit hah to jao

Preet: wow bharate nari----not bad
Girl: excuse me
Preet: nothing, hah meina apko kahi dekha hai..Raj ki behan right
Girl: hah, app raj ko janta hai
Preet: yes, voh mera bachpan ka dost hai
Girl: usna app ki bara mein kabhi zekar nahi kiya
Preet: really..that's strange. By the way,you are very beautiful
-hands her a flower-

Girl: thank you*smiles*
Harman: Preet, yeh tum kya karaha ho..
Preet: bhai…um voh
Girls leaves
Preet: kya bhai, mera 5 min ki time pass barbad kiya
Harman: teek hai teek hai, lets go, the car is here
Preet: Prem bhai kaha hai
Harman: voh to already office gaya hai
Preet: what?? Oh god

Back to HEER

Heer: meera mujhe office jana hai to drop off my resume, phir I'll join you at the party okay.
Mehar: teek hai, bye

Heer goes to the office(I wonder who owns the business there)

Heer: um heres my resume
Girl: don't bother, were not hiring
Heer: magar outside lika hai ka you are hiring
Girl: no were not

PREMS ENTRY
-Heer starts to leave disappointed and bumps into someone-

Her papers fly out of her hands and she slips into someone's arms.
All this time she is closing her eyes…
Prem: excuse me, are you okay.He continues to stare at her.
Heer (shouting) kya teek hoon, I hate these bare log. What do they think of themselves, I came here for a job and all I got was rejection. Is it because of the way I look, koi izhaat nahi karta is desh mein. Everyone is fake*cries*
Prem: dekhya…
Heer: mujhe aap ki koi bhaat nahi sune, no one listened to me
I hope this company goes down the drain…Please let go of me now
Prem: okay mischievous look—throws her on the floor
Heer: oowwww, yeh kya kiya
Prem: aap na kaha, chor do mujhe
Heer: badtamiz..leaves

Prem: smiles….India sure is interesting

P.S: Heer does not know that Prem is part of the Juneja family, infact she has just heard about the Juneja family and doesn't know how they really look like
