Rakesh Bapat, the blue-eyed boy of producer Sunjoy Wadhwa , has started shooting for Zee Next's 'Simplly Sapney' after replacing Gautam Rode from the main lead of the show.

Earlier, due to some differences between Prakash Mehera Productions and the channel, the rein of producing the serial had been handed over to Sunjoy Wadhwa. Wadhwa has very good relation with Zee people and has already been producing the hit serial 'Saat Phere' for them.

The theme of the show 'Simplly Sapne' revolves around three middle class ambitious girls who dream to become rich and famous. How, they achieve their goals in life forms the core of the show.

However, this is not for the first time that Sunjoy Wadhwa has taken over the production of a serial. Earlier, he had taken over from Aroona Irani the production of 'Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand' midway. There are also talks that Sunjoy is likely to take over the production of 'Mohe Rang De' from Deepti Bhatnagar, who has been producing it for the upcoming channel 'Colors.'
